I would find it hard to decide between to two biggest sites, pokerstars or Full Tilt. Both offer numerous different poker formats, games and stakes. As far as depositing, or rakeback I can't say much, I've never deposited......:(

Rakeback is 27% for Full Tilt.

Pokerstars has rakeback based on what your VIP club level, amounts ranging from 15% to 83%.

Other than that both seem to have exceptional support and a wide range of games.

Gotta give it to Full Tilt for having the more user friendly lobby and better graphics.

It depends on what you're looking for; e.g. MTTs vs cash games, fast vs slow tournament structures, large fields vs smaller, etc. And whether one is clearly best even after you've defined your key parameters may still be questionable. If you're a decent player relative to the opponents at the levels you play, you can win anywhere.

Which ever site you can win money on, mtt and sng are structures differently on different sites, find the site that fits your playing style. Cash games are the same they have some deep stack play and some shorter, and of course how many fishes there are, if your getting beat move down, change sites, zig and zag, dont go broke.

Unless you are in the US, I'd suggest looking outside of the major two sites to smaller sites focussed on other markets.

I've always made the most money on sites which excluded US players and had little to no rakeback, as the average player was much fishier.

Beating the rake with a decent winrate due to poor players is often better than lowering your winrate and trying to supplement it with rakeback.

Also depends on the time available to you. I have found MTT's at Full Tilt run a little quicker than those at Pokerstars due to field sizes. So if time is an issue due to work requirments then FT may be your answer.

If you are a bonus player play those sites that allow you the easiest in and out with your money. I like to just keep eneough on any one site that if they fold or quit US players I dont get burned to bad. Cash out often and rebuy to get freebies and bonuses. Watch out lots of sites will let you buy in for small amounts but to cash you have to have much larger balances.

I would have to say full tilt. Graphics, games fill up faster, better software. But I would play whatever site gives you the best deal.

Two big ones FTP and PokerStars are the way to go. Think FTP has a edge over PokerStars in regards to the intangible factors. Would look into rakeback on any deposit you make.

Full Tilt for sure! The software is unbeatable. But, the prize money is on PStars! The sunday events are much bigger on stars as well--if you can handle the headache the software gives you.

I play 50/50 at Full Tilt and Purple Lounge.

Full Tilt because it's just a great all-round site and I love the Rush Poker format (I'm impatient!) and there are always lots of players if you fancy a big tournament...or any type of cash game.

Purple Lounge because it's much smaller and there are a LOT of fish who have only signed up for the free $250!

On balance, I prefer Full Tilt, but I make more money on Purple Lounge because of all the crap British players throwing their cash around!

lol :)
