Well, actually, you should be happy that you are playing against such loose players. The reason being is because, if they are calling your bets/raises with bad odds, they will lose money in the long run. They might catch their card and beat you or they might get a hot streak going, but in the long run you will come out on top.
Say your opponent is chasing a 1 outter. I think its 22 : 1 that they will hit their hand on the river. So, mathmatically you will win 22/23 times this hand plays out and they will win 1/23 times.
Against players like these, i try to keep the pot small if I have a good hand, but not the nuts. Say I'm holding KK and its an overpair to the board, but ther are 2 suits showing. My opponent is a call station and will call any draw; I believe he has a flush draw. Well, knowing that he'll call anything, it would be foolish of me to overbet the pot because if he catches, I have to slow down my betting/let my hand go. So, the best thing to do is bet out small, but still giving him improper odds to chase. Usually half pot or a little over is just enough. In the long run, i'll still make money.
However if you do flop the nuts, then you want to get as much money as you can in there against loose players because they will pay you off.
Also, the stakes you play at your home game is a big factor. You said its laid back and it should be treated that way. Small stakes, easy going atmosphere, friends having a good time, etc...you can expect loose play from players because its likely they are treating as just fun. Play $5 home games with .1/.2 blinds and its very loose. Play $100 with .5/1 blinds and its a lot different...usually.
