I've recently started playing at Hero (Merge network) and wanted to recommend it to other MTT players.
The CEO's focus is MTTs and he's offering rakeback of 35% through May 31st. The downside to rb is it takes longer to clear any bonuses, so choose accordingly if you decide to play there.
David Jung (guy who runs the skin) has been very active on other forums and is extremely responsive.
I used a Green Dot to deposit with no trouble. Too early to say anything about cashing out (I'm a bankroll nit).

How's the software? I'm looking into Hero also along with Lock/RPM/Carbon.

I got a good impression of Hero Poker and its CEO based on what I've read in the 2p2 thread. As I already receive rakeback on another Merge skin, I wouldn't be able to get it on Hero, so I like that their VIP system was designed (and seems) to stand well on its own. In fact, because Hero's VIP system is so self-contained, it seems like you would maximize value by getting rakeback on a different Merge site, unless you choose to play on Hero exclusively. I'm not looking to switch my Merge base at the moment, but I could see myself opening an account on Hero eventually, especially if it continues to get positive reviews and comes up with juicy promos.

I looked into HERO and although there's nothing wrong with it...I chose LOCK POKER...which is my second MERGE site...that should be enough for me...it's tough to earn bonus money if you spread yourself too thin...atleast it is for me!

After years at PS it takes a little getting used to for me but I really have no complaints.

There's no doubt we're all gonna have to change gears in comparison to PS/FTP ;). It will take time for these others to eventually improve. I've been checking a couple of the other Merge skins out and they seem to be very similar (to each other).

I have read that Hero is targeting more of a MTT base. Have you noticed this might be the case? Are there more tourneys on Hero? More MTT promos? I believe the network shares the cash and SNG traffic.

Hero is definitely more of a MTT site.
By the way, they will no longer accept US players after May 25th. Their CEO has been very active on other forums and the growth of that particular skin on Merge has apparently been quite strong. As a "boutique" site (his words, not mine) he doesn't want to grow at the expense of service. So, while other Merge skins are still going to accept US players, Hero will not.
