So I miss the double or nothings that pokerstars used to do. I have tried to find other sites but when they charge a god awful rake of 10% fee I doubt they are beatable, for any significant amount of money anyway.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites that offered anything close to the 4% tourny fee poker stars used to charge for them, before or after rakeback deals etc.

i believe this is where Black Friday really hurt us USA players ...I don't think you will find a site like that THAT also allows US players. I think you as a US player just has to roll up sleeves and play the 10 % rake games and win more to make up the difference

I am from the UK i don't know what I said here which implied I was from the US.

I won't pay 10% for a don because if i did I would struggle to break even, i might just be able to scrape 1-2% roi with that sort of rake, either way I would be close to break even, and I aspire to make more then sweat shop wages when I play. Ironically it was a sweat shop in China which ruined the dons for me, when pokerstars got rid of them due to this reason.

Why do so many pyeople gripe about the DON rake. If you can't win 5 of 9 (that would put you up 10% of a buy in) why would you want to play that. If you think it's too small of a win then why aren't you playing a different game with a larger cash. It's designed to be slow pace, slow rewards, everything slow. Not like you could win 1 multitable and be back to even on the month. If you want to win those you have to win most of the time. It's just a different style the same way the everyone seems to understand a ring game is different than a sng is different than mtt.

to me, just seems like if you don't win at least 60% your roll wont grow at all and if you don't win 60% you wouldn't really want to play those. I personally like them. It does suck when you crush it and knock out 4 people and have a giant stack but at the same time you gotta remember you're cashing when you have 300 in chips and you got 5th place.
