Has anyone come across a fix for a similar problem? Customer support was no help.
I'm more of a Mac user so maybe I'm just missing something very basic on the Windows side.

My Windows 7 install checks out fine.
Starts up fast, browses the internet, even downloaded the Blackchip installer.

When Blackchip is run it successfully checks for and installs updates, but once the lobby window appears it disconnects and never progresses past the "... Reconnecting..." point.

The lobby is there, but no games show and none of the clickable links (log-in, cashier, etc.) work.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I can't make a new thread today so I am sorry to interrupt your thread. Is blackchip worth depositing to? I have deposited at bovada, and I am registered at blackchip. I was wondering is it worth playing there and is it easy to withdraw and deposit

Thanks for your reply. It was essential but not my entire problem.
I did open access for BCP in the windows software, but still wasn't connecting.

Eventually I discovered it was a hardware problem with my wireless router. I'm not too happy with the solution of disabling the router firewall. Until I can get the proper port numbers that BCP needs, I'm relying completely on the Windows firewall.

Probably okay but I wish BCP support had a better response than to, "Contact your ISP or maker of your router and request that they add BCP to their exception list." Craziness or just laziness on their part? I'm not sure but either one is equally frustrating.

I'm not a good one to ask. It been over a year since I've had Windows workable.
I've been unable to play poker rooms that don't have Mac OS compatible software.

I have recently started playing playing on Black Chip Poker after a long long long stint with Bovada. Although I loved bovada (and withdraws where fast) I have loved Black Chip Poker.

I can't speak to withdrawls though. I have yet to cash out on BCP. But there are several things that I like about BCP that Bovada simply doesn't offer. Here is a list of things

1) No Anonymous tables.
2) Rakeback (sign up for BCP through rakeback.com and get 27% rakeback)
3) VIP Rewards. Once reaching a certain level, you can cash in 4,500 player points for 50$.
