Hi,
I'm pre-registered for WSOOF but am having difficulty manually registering for it. Each time I click on 'register here' a page comes up saying 'expired link'
Any suggestions? I'd really like to play this tourney and had hopes of representing Cardschat and helping to kick some asses of the other forums.

tks.

I think that the problem is that you had to pre-register by June 04 in order to register for the event. I tried to register this morning and got the message tht the event was closed.

If you find out away please let me know.

Thanks

I found it and had no problem, if anyone can tell me about the turbo buy in, it says 1 player will win entry for every 55.00 in the prize pool, atm theres only 20 people registered, if theres not 55 in the pool is there still a winner?

I'm having the same problem. I pre-registered before the deadline, got the confirmation e-mail, and got the e-mail last night explaining how to manually register. I find today's freeroll in the list, and click the register link, which opens a web page saying "The link you have requested has expired. Please log back into the client and request this page again." Sounded like a bogus error, but I logged out and back in multiple times -- same thing.

I'm e-mailing them now to report it.

Got this reply:

I’ve let Full Tilt Poker know about this issue. You may want to also contact support@fulltiltpoker.com about this. One thing another player did was to clean out their cache then make sure Full Tilt Poker is on your allow list.

Very truly yours,

I've forwarded to FT support as Tara suggested. Clearing the cache didn't help, and I'm already accepting all cookies.

Registered for todays game yesterday, and just registered now for next weeks freeroll as it's limited. no prob with the link so it's your computer blocking it somehow.

Hey,.. DMorris,.. If you can get logged on to Fulltilt thru someone else's computer, good chance it will work (I used to have to manually register for the canada freeroll via my g/f's computer, but unfortunately it's in the shop,... she uses a different interenet prov.).

Yah,... I've tried everything as well (and 'no',..it's not because I didn't pre-register, and also I'm staring right at the tourney, and am clicking on 'register here',.. and still getting the same result, 'expired link',.... I contacted Fulltilt over 24hrs. ago,... no reply,... I also contacted OFC 24hrs. ago,.. no reply).

Good Luck in that event today everyone!!!

Lily, most of the tourney's I've looked at are re-buys! usually denoted +R or +RA (re-buy and Add-on) or something very similar. I think at FT they show up with a big '+' (plus sign).

So even if there were only 8 folks at $5 each to start (total $40), history says that almost everyone in it will rebuy at least once, and then add-on at the break. Using that same 8 folks model, it is NOT uncommon to see an average of 4x the initial entry fee get into the pot, that would make it, in this imaginary case, $ 160. This would fall short of getting 3 folks a seat out of the 8 starters. In which case 2 would get seats, and 3rd place would probably get all the remainder, which in this case would be $50. It may be that with 40 entrants, the pool would support 8+ seats.

Re-buys are always a bit hairy, and while there are many who decline to re-buy, and a couple who will not even add-on, there are many who will re-buy more than 10 times. There is a frenzy about some re-buys, that for some reason taps some folks greed nerve and just won't let go.

Was your info correct, is firewall on?

Hi,

I would guess that either you submitted some info that was incorrect or that your firewall is blocking the Fulltilt client from accessing the internet. If you think for sure that your info was correct, then try shutting down any firewall and click the link again.

Info is correct, no firewall is blocking anything.

Not to sound snarky, I know ya'll are trying to help... but I do this stuff for a living. I'm pretty confident it isn't my PC. OFC are obviously getting other reports of this as well. OFC was very quick to respond (within minutes I think), but FT hasn't, and probably won't.

I'll keep trying to get in, but looks like I may be denied this one...

I emailed FT support last night as well - no reply. For some reason today I can get into the registration page time and time again. That's why I assume it had something to do with all the temp. internet and offline file crap and then rebooting? I dunno - good luck.

This freeroll is only open to members of CardsChat that represented CardsChat in the WSOOF games last month, as this is your first post here I would say that you didn't represent CardsChat in those games.
