These satellites cost $200 to play in, with 100 registers in a shoot out style tournament. There's only one winner that will get the wsop seat and $1,000 spending cash. So I was just wondering, does the extra $9,000 from the tournament go to Harrah's? I've always wanted to play in this satellite, but it seems like the buy-in should only cost $110.

im not for sure, but since there are two sessions, maybe each session gets a seat? that would account for all but the extra $1000 the winner gets. first time i have seen one such as this. edit......i read it again, and it does seem to be one seat.. thats a bit odd.

I don't think it's a winner take all. There might be prizes for 2nd and 3rd.

I wanted to post this just in case you never found out on your own. I e-mailed Harrah's and they said the remaining prize pool will be paid out to 2nd-10th place. They didn't say how much for each spot though.

If you do play this keep in mind the second session and final table will basicly be played back to back, so if your in that session be prepaired.
