I don't get it. It's just a royal straight. If it was a royal flush than I could see why you would make a big deal about it. It's great that you won and everything but you hyped it up too much. :hmmmm:

Congrats. Nothing like having your opponents all have great cards when you have the nuts!

Won $107 with one hand - that was what got me excited - of course i've had better hands, but when are they ever paid off like this?

I think he's sharing because his opponents both had calling hands too, and obviously thought they had the nuts. The one guy flopped a K-high straight, the other guy probably should've folded after all the raising, but had hit a pair for one of his cards, had a straight draw he was chasing, and rivered trip Jacks (so he probably thought he was justified in calling). So all this led to a very handsome pot, which he was obviously jazzed about winning! As he should be! Nice job, Rob. :)

Jazzed is right Juicee! Wasn't exactly the nuts - opponents could have had full house or 4 jacks (and flush could have hit on river), but with 4 people pumping money in, it's worth the risk. The Minstrel character had been annoying me - he raised with virtually anything, and often hit - he did $39 this hand though!

My bad on the nuts thing. As for the guy annoying you, that just makes it all the more sweet of a victory.

I was playing .50/1.00 on Superior a few months ago and a similar hand happened to me. I was on the button with K-J suited and it went bet, raise and raise to me. I hadn't caught in a while so what the hell it was only a few bucks so I called. Flop was A-Q-T rainbow so I had nut str8. It went bet, raise, raise, raise, call all the way to the river (turn and river were junk). I rolled nut str8, other three had pocket aces, queens, and tens respectively - truly amazing to be on the winning end of this one...

What the odd on this one folks, does this one win most unlikely hand of the year award, or do i still get that one with my full house run ???
