(First of all I'd like to appolgize for the very long post, it just gives the ppl that don't know about this the general idea of what i mean about starting a BR by doing this.)

If you don't have a BR on poker stars, then now would be a good time to take advantage of this oppurtunity. I'm sure you all know about the Americas cup of Poker, all you have to do is play in the ACOP - freeroll shootout SNG (can be found in -tournys-regional). Its 81 players - 9 tables - then 1 final table. you just have to beat your other 8 opponents at your table, then wait till every other table has a winner, the winner of every table goes to the final table where 1st place takes a $0.10 ACOP tourny ticket (wow $0.10 no big deal you might be thinking right? haha). You then use that ticket to enter the $0.10 ACOP (your country vs. other country). Yesterday there was 2320 entrants in my countrys tourny with 342nd place taking $0.15 and with 1st taking $38.20. the SNG shootouts are fairly easy except there is always alot of all ins on the first hand, the good thing is that there are around 3 of these SNG's every minute of the day and night and you can get as many tickets as you want. GL to everyone.

Sounds ok if you have no bankroll.

I recently started on pokerstars and managed to win $70 from playing the Juno invitational $500 freerolls and the UK 2k giveaway freerolls.

If you are new you will get a Juno ticket for around 2 weeks.

I notice that the other day too
Getting through the first round was easy
and the second round wasn't too bad
I say you get more odds on these than the rest, but for 10 cents, you be playing for a while hihihi

Yeah you could do that, but some ppl can't work due to medical reasons (like me) or other reasons. so its something to try if you got some free time on your hands.

I like the 81 player style with one final table. Does anyone know if they have this style for regular games anywhere? Too bad the tickets can;t be traded for cash. I would use that for the 360 man games or save toward the 25 cent 90 man games

And some people need the money they make from working to pay the bills, put food on the table, etc.

Oh and as for the shootout's, they are kinda fun, but seriously, I don't think they're a great way to start a bankroll, but I get what you're saying.

I have been playing these this morning. Mostly for practice with becoming more TAG. As long as everyone sees these for the ultimate donkfest they are you should be ok and have a ticket fairly easy.

I finally got a ticket. Not sure if I will ever use it but I just wanted it as part of my Poker goals.

Look at the hand I took it down with. The hand before I took most of that person's stack with K high.

I agree maybe not a great way to start a BR, but more like a limited opportunity to enter a small buy-in tourny for free.
