Graphs show when it went bad, but why?

Trying to see where I went bad over my years playing poker, and saw a pattern in my graphs over 2 sites.

What would you make of these 2 graphs of mine?

This first one shows 888 poker, the first site I joined and started to try and become a winning player back in 2006, the graph was steady-ish upwards (apart from big win and big drop cause I made a run for it), but still upwards.
It's in 2008 here that it started dropping, this is when I started discovering other sites (pokerstars) which I stayed due to the large fields and bigger tournaments.

But this below is my pokerstars graph, it's almost as if I went from winning, to losing from 2008, around the high point of my intensified learning, and continued down ever since.

So I wonder how I could start off winning, with no real knowledge behind me, but 2 years later after gaining so much knowledge from studying, I became a losing player.
Maybe the first 2 years where just during the boom, where I was able to win consistently, but as the game got tougher 2 years later, I could win no longer?

Maybe I just lost my game somewhere, or more likely - my mind.

hard to say on the 888 one but the second one shows it is just the spikes on your big wins that kept you up did you increase your buy ins to much or play cash in between and dribble it away .the 888 one looks like you had small wins in between so I think maybe the same thing . Did you start playing different games at that time or different limits

Most of my 888 play was in 6 seated turbos, I crushed those games for some time, but they got rid of the format. I would enter MTT's there too with the winnings on the day.

On Stars I played MTT, and started playing all other forms of poker over the past few years, but a losing graph over 9 years really needs to change.

Don't really change stakes, I play anything upto $5.50, sometimes I lose $100 or so in a short time because I tilt and chase losses, and I have lost a fair bit to zoom cash so now I steer clear of them.

I probably am better in SNG, but it's not what brings me joy, I want to crush MTT, and it's not happening. When I play well, and my minds not tilted I will run deep and make some good wins, but this does not happen often.

Maybe I am not cut out for poker mentally, I believe that is the root of the problem, and I can't seem to change that.

I still feel however I played back then, was different to how I play now, and I had a more solid 'by the book' game.
