I set up an account at Carbon Poker last year but never played on it much after I played for a while with whatever introductory offer it had. Today I got an email saying they were giving me a $5 bonus to encourage me back and in the conditions it says there is no rakeback or rollover requirement. Happy days! Also when I logged into my account I saw there was $9 there I had forgotten about, so I have a little bit to play with on Carbon. I usually play $1,50 fifty50 games on pokerstars. Can anyone recommend a good game on Carbon for me?

Also, how are they for processing withdrawals?

I would suggest any of their $1 MTT'S the gtd's usually have a decent structure. and YES their checks take about 2-6weeks depending on your history.

I like the sit n gos double up, you could buy in for as little 1.10 all the way up. 10 people, all you have to do is make it in the top 5 and you double up.

I agree - I have done well in the $1 scheduled rebuy tournaments. Usually you can find a lot of players who are willing to double your stack on some pretty marginal pushes

Same here, I managed to take the free money from $5 to $15 in a week, then the next week I went from $15 back to $0. :(

Last week I cashed in the CardsChat freeroll on Carbon for $9.40 and that's now up to $15 again. :)

That's encouraging . . . I think! Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I usually do play the DON type SNGs but maybe I should take this as an opportunity to branch out and try MTTs. That will take some loosening up though. I often do make it to the money in freerolls but rarely anywhere close to a final table.

I play the NLHE tables that pay 3 places in the 10 player of 2 places in the 6 player games.

I like the $1 rebuy add on , I think its $600 gtd. turbo, plays fast, lot of action in the rebuy part of the tourney, and the add on is 5k more in chips, and the whold tourney goes fairly fast with 5 minute levels, that's at carbon poker

Haven't tried the MTTs yet. Played 3 DONs though, winning money in two of them. In my third DON I had 11bb left and decided to shove with K4s. Everyone was very tight and i would have been happy with the blinds. Got called by KK and JJ and won with a flush. This sparked off some discussion in the chat so everyone thinks I work for carbon now ☺
