Here are the results of my weeklong search for freeroll friendly sites, for US players. I signed up for several sites and here are my findings:

Bovada: several PTS freerolls available if you have poker points from previous play on the site. Other "true" freerolls, like today's 100k new player qualifier, are not open to the public. I was able to register, but when the tournament began, didnt have a seat. I called customer service and was told those tournaments are only available to players with cash in their accounts.

Cake: 5x per day qualifier for once/week $1000 freeroll. Seven places in each qualifier qualify for the invitation only $1000 freeroll on Saturdays. Other freerolls available from time to time. The prize pool for the Saturday invitational is pretty flat, with 36 places paying and first earning $120.

America's Cardroom- America's cardroom does have some freerolls, you either need TourneyBucks which you earn playing on the site, or a password for an affiliate's freeroll. For example, I signed up for an account on Pokerstop.com in order to be able to play their exclusive freeroll on ACR as well as on other sites.

Lock- No regular freerolls. These sites offer "new depositor" freerolls, but nothing for players with no money in their accounts

RPM Poker- $200 freerolls at 6am, 8pm, 12am (CST). No info yet on the prize structure, but I'll probably find out at 8 tonight.

Carbon Poker- $200 freerolls at 6am, 8pm, 12am (CST). No info yet on the prize structure, but I'll probably find out at 8 tonight. Apparently these tournaments are over the whole merge network. Carbon's splash page says "32000 in prizes for freerolls" so I'm not sure if that's just the sum of all the $200 tourneys or if there's something bigger coming up that's Carbon- exculsive.

Black Chip- Same as the other Merge sites. Did I mention that the $200 freerolls have 5000 players across the network, and you get 1000 chips in a turbo format.

Next stops- Minted and Betonline, I'll update as I learn.

Anyone with any suggestions where else I might sign up, feel free to comment. I have zero bankroll now (unemployed), but that's going to change and this research will also help me decide whether to play at good old bodog, or go somewhere else to try and get bonus/rakeback and get a software rig up and running. My pokertracker is version 2 and I doubt you get upgrades for free. I don't even know if they offer downloads of 2.0 or if it's just obsolete.

Cheers!

There aren't much freerolls for US players, but for add to your list: Hero Poker (merge network) offers one $99 daily freeroll ($11 tickets for top 9) and other $100, but only pay top 3. They also have free sit'gos all day long, but you need to have deposited before, after that you can play as much as you want. GoHard Poker (the same network as Minted) offers 3 or 4x (don't remember) $5 freerolls.

I have heard Hero is a good one. They also have sng freerolls, but those are mind blowing, I have done 2 and when it gets to final 3, the other two are usually big stacks who are sitting out, it sucks....
Good luck.

if the other two are sitting out that sounds like a very easy win :D

I don't like freerolls I still can't believe I played them as long as I did but I can honestly say they did improve my game and showed me how to be patient

I wanted to add in that ACR has additional freerolls than what you posted. They only have a few a day but you dont need points or passwords and they are for sattelites into larger tournaments normally.

you need to have tourney bucks to get into any of the ACR freerolls except the private ones...
props to whoever mentioned betonline, they have good freeroll, good software, and the sports book probably brings some soft players

Freerolls - Good luck with that . . .

Forum Freerolls are the best imo

CC has some great Freerolls once you have met the qualifications to play.

Yeah I'm getting sick of them really fast. Got into Cake's $1000 freeroll on Sat though. There should only be 250 players or so.

Just found out tonight that I will be getting unemployment checks (the reason i have all the time on my hands for freerolls) so I'll be looking to make a deposit. I just have to play right and clear a bonus... make the right folds.

The freerolls have been a good way to try out the sites available to US players.

I play the freerolls on carbon, usually gets down to 200 people from 2500 or 3000 in like an hour...then it's on from there. got knocked out yesterday in 200 something place with QQ vs AJ...yup, he caught one of his 3 outs...but it's a freeroll so can't really get mad lol

I play the carbon freerolls, just lost at 109/3500 or so. That cake freeroll qualifier sounds interesting though...

Intertops on the cake network has some great freerolls. The field is really small compared to carbon's and the prize pool is higher. Only problem is you'd have to have made an account with them before they quit allowing new USA signups.

yeah definetly merge i play on pokerhost they have $200 freerolls trnys and sitngo fun steps, win three and getta buc. but you cant sign up in different skins on the same network. so..... i just downloaded americas card room which has some freeroll satellites. the software graphics dudnt seem all that great but the funtionality is pretty good, aside from the prev hand display..that will have to be looked at later not during a game.

intertops.eu every other week or so does a friday and sunday freeroll with $500 dollar cash pot. please note, im pretty sure they dont take new clients from the US. if you are already a member you can still play.
also that network intertops is on has a 250 player freeroll every day and night for entries into several different cash tourneys. this is a great way to start building your bankroll without an investment.

Nice post but can use some updating to the Carbon Freerolls. I believe on the regular they only offer $50 freerolls now.

Buyer Beware

I would advise steering clear of BETONLINE. poker bonus in not 25% as advertised. Instead 15% in Play Money.
Games and Players are very suspect and getting paid out can be difficult if you get paid out. Search BETONLINE on this site and you won't want to deposit there.
