Going to foxwoods

Going to try to get there this week. My last week of my vacation. I have never been to any casino at all. So in essence asking for any ideas besides playing hold-em. I am coming from NH by bus because it is cheaper then actuall driving. So any tips, suggestions, hotels or what to do is very much appreciated

Never been to foxwoods. But I think Carl Trooper has been there with some good runs.
