Glitches on FT

A few times now I have noticed players being eliminated from tours in say 81st when there are still 170 in. And when I switch the list to chip count or placement, their name moves up to be the last one eliminated. (81st is listed above 20th for instance) Im not sure if they are getting rewarded if they make the money or not.
Anyone else seen this? Is this a glitch or are these people cheating somehow?

It takes the chipleader/players remaining lists a few minutes to update. It is not real time.

So your suggesting that 90 people got eliminated between the last list updates, and so this person really did finish 81st? Or are you saying that they just assign a number, ant then put them in the right place when the list updates in a couple of minutes?

I dont think its a lag from real time and updates. Like I said when I sort the list by rank, they will move up. Not the # but where they are on the list. 81st will be above 20th for instance. I took a few screen shots, not sure if its ok to post them. I dont want to put names up here incase its a FT glitch, and not someone cheating.

OK, well I sent a screen shot to FT about it. Seems to be just a glitch. Here is the reply I got.

Looking at the screenshot that you provided, it appears that there may have been
a display issue with your tournament. Rest assured that the player in question
would not have been credited for first place, despite what was displaying in the
tournament lobby.

Sometimes we find that players will be listed in a wrong position when there are
multiple players tied for the same spots in a tournament. This will cause some
players to display the same rank, and others to display a position other than
the one they finished in.
