So i used to play on G2G poker and they merged with poker pros network. I got second in the first $25 freeroll i played yippie. Not the point though. I just think this might be one of the worst poker sites around, next to no tourneys, hardly any players. A huge chat window you can't get rid of.

This is really something. Anyone else seen a site as comparable to this.

Never heard of G2G, but know the PPN. Traffic is low for sure, but it's just starting from scratch as an independent, and to become it's own network of sites also; like each Pro is somewhat like a "skin" on the "network".

GTG used to be on same network as carbon or it looked the same at least. I guess if it is just starting that may explain why there is very little traffic. There are many improvements that can be made thats for sure.

For perspective i looked at number of players in completed tourneys.
6 completed tourneys in the past 12 hours about 114 entrants. So most likely under 100 players. Countless canceled tourneys.

I am interested to see if anything comes of this site. I do have a monster BR of around $7 too bad few tourneys to spend it on.

I briefly tried betfair last October.

There was often only one occupied full ring table at $0.02/$0.04
It took an hour to fill an $0.11c 9 man SnG
The software slowed to an almost unusable state with more than one table open

Thanks for the comments, it helps to know problems at a site before I am tempted to sign up

I have worked with g2g before and now and i have to say previously they were on point but of late they have slumped, i think they are out of depth really coz they really don't deliver like they used to previously.

Customer service was a little screwy for me after the merge. Had 3 bucks to transfer from old account they told me it was possible. Sent numerous emails back and forth before i realized and told them what the problem was.

There is a paylinq site that you have to deposit through. It showed $3 in that account, problem is in order to deposit in your poker account min is $20.

Not like i cared about a little $3 but customer service kept telling me it was possible to transfer, when in fact it wasn't.

yeah there are countless poker sites that just started and probably will fail since big poker sites like pokerstars and full tilt out there and soaking up most of the poker traffic out there.

I tried Hollywood Poker a few years ago. I haven't heard of them in a long time so I hope they went bankrupt. Anyway, I could only stand to play there for an afternoon. Playing very low stakes, to try out the site, I lost $40 to $50 without winning a hand. I managed to split the pot twice, once we both had AA, the other time we both had AK. To top it all off I didn't play with a single famous person.
I stick to the popular sites now...

Yea, dude, it's really sad that, because Hollywood USED to be a great place, with forums and fun and participation that rivaled CC here (if CC had it's own pokerroom). But Nov 2006 and the UIGEA really bit them. They lost most of the fun people. If they had just decided to stick to their guns and not "fold" to the US govt, like Tilt and Stars did, then I think they could have become one of the big ones! But, alas, bad management decisions, lead to shrivelling and decay.....of course THESE days that's much more common in all sectors of the economy! :)

G2G cheated me out of deposits twice. The first time for $40.00 and the second for $108.00. They keep changing networks and blame the network. Well, it was G2G that asked me to join and make a deposit, not the network. I'd never play there again.

The best bonuses in the world aren't worth a thing, if you can't withdraw them.

I know their track record is horrible, their new network is extremely weak, the whole thing should be avoided

Thats interesting as i have been playing here for 3 years on tables $1 - 2 NL and higher and never had a problem with support or withdrawing. As for the poker pros network there is 600 cash players online with action up to $30-$60 NL.

I tell any of my friends to play here and certainly way better than any site on stupid merge gaming, if its so bad im really sure 35 Pros would be here playing you guys must be a bunch of little free roll whores. lol

For starters do some research ppn and g2g are not on the same network and software.

The cash players at g2g peek hours are 1800 so thats what merge and cake combined not bad for a private network.

Cash games are up to 30-60 NL and has nice software and no withdrawal issues what so ever.

Do some research!!!

i think i can not trust some guy who i never see before with ma money what can stop him from not paying me if i won to much lol for example 10k or something like that

I agree with you Jolub!

Interesting that "debitexpress" has so many good things to say about G2G Pros. If you look at the G2G Pros profile on MySpace, it also lists G2G Pros as "Debit Express" operator.

I already saw some players complaining in other poker forums that they had problems to cash out their money. That I remember, they did receive their money, but it took a long time.
I don't have many opinions about G2G, because I don't play there anymore. But, I always stay alert with a poker room that have a history of bad payments.

I dont know about G2G but PPN is now on the Cake Network and I've gotten paid by them 3 times since Black Friday. You can get a money order now there for $5, and I think the minimum is $50 (but I never withdrew less than $100, so i'm not 100% sure on that)

Very Interesting how people can post things with no proof? I have been playing on G2G since 2007 Merge, G2G BET that was on Future Bet in 2006 is not the same site as G2G Pros for those who think they know anything and posting information on sites with no proof of anything wow this info would stand up great in court LOL.
Thank God G2G got off Merge in 2009 as Merge was to slow on cashouts as ever and oddly enough about 10 to 20 Future Bet sites are on Merge now anyone know why? I do because Ron Katz the scammer needed a place to put his sites and Merge knowing his past still did a deal with him in 2007 as i was right there as an affiliate at the show scoping things out.

G2G has always paid any of my players with no problems at all but hey G2G has never done there own cashier other than pic club and epassporte for my players which pic is the only 2 left they relied on networks crappy cashiers to do this.

To sum things up with G2G i got 30 plus players there now playing limits of 5-10 and higher mostly Heads up and are winning alot more here than any other sites and have 0 problems getting paid, log in to the lobby and sit with them all at tables and ask them since people always want proof! G2G DOES not allow American players and hasnt since 2009, So any yankee posting in here is wasting there time as they cant play here either way so maybe spend more time playing on a site where you wont be paid i can list about 100 Merge & Cake sites and FTP that simply just didnt pay about 500000 players go post on the threads there and bitch about not being paid in the mean time ile keep getting my 25% affiliate pay on large rake i do monthly!

Ty again for information with no proof or substance really high stakes players must be posting this Jolub id is obviously a site basher he must have 10000 posts online putting sites down what a Loser!
