hello all, i play on a number of sites. regularly.
An observation i have made is that the tournaments on fulltilt are of increasingly less value then pokerstars. I mean 80000 prize money for 11 on pokerstars. Can you really go past that.
I love playing on fulltilt but value for money is drawing me away. Tell me what you think and what is your 'value for money' site. I love omaha hi/lo heads up if anyone wants to play on fulltilt sometime.:icon_sant :icon_sant

well for those of us who still learning and not willing to spend more than $10.00, fulltilt has plenty of $1.00 tourneys and freerolls - more than on PokerStars with less people.

yes fair enough, the main problem therein with fulltilt is the minimum 50 deposit. wouldnt it be better to learn on the low limit cash tables then the tournys. The 1 dollar tournys are predominately donkey players and not a good learning tool as far as i am concerned. gl anyway m8

aussie, are you trying to learn the game? as your 2nd post states or are you playing for the value? as in the first post. i can't say too much for pokerstars ( don't play there anymore ) but full tilt has plenty of tournaments with good value. lots of gauranteed tournamnets with overlay, and added cash to tournaments, you can't beat that value.

no not learning

no mate, i am not trying to learn. I have been very successful in the omaha, iwas merely trying to point out that learning would likely be better on the cash tables than bingo 1 dollar tourneys. The person who replyed to me said he was trying to learn on the min tourneys thats all.:) :)

I like PS. Better look and more action. FT seems to have more bad beats then any other site. (just my take) A lot of people call PS "Riverstars" which is true, but FT seems to bring out the bad cards for me and a few others I've been at the table with then I've EVER seen on PS.

I believe pokerstars has more entrants in their tourneys, so sure, bigger payouts. If you want to wade through the masses, you can make more on stars. Some of my friends like those smaller tourneys on other sites with the overlays. Easier to win and free money added by that guaranteed payout. They're both good deals in my book.
Good Luck,
Tom

I play regularly at Full Tilt and PokerStars, but i prefer Full Tilt much better, there are much better Freerolls and low cost tournaments i think, and the blind structure is also acceptable at FTP. PS is good if you want to play mikro limit cash game, cause at FTP the min cash table is $0.5/$0.10.
