FullTilt Update Problem

Anyone have problems with the latest FullTilt software update? I got prompted for the update, I clicked "Yes" to update, and then the software just closed. Now I can't log on. I tried right clicking and "Running as Administrator", but that didn't work. I'm currently running Windows Vista. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I didnt have problem but i hate Vista. Use Win XP or Win 7.

Uninstall full tilt from your system then download it from the site and re-install with the new installer.

Had the same problem with a few previous updates and thats how I fixed it.

I agree. I had to uninstall my old version, then download the new version. It will still retain your preferences and everything (it should anyway).

It won't retain your player notes. If you have alot of player notes You need to save them first.

OP, not sure what the problem is (I'm kinda computer illiterate... well sorta... I do know how to save player notes, lol) hope you get it sorted out.

Really? That's okay .. they're probably not up to date anyway. Players sometimes change after a while.

anyway i didn't have any trouble withnew update, but don't have windows vista either. hope you figure it out. gl :cheers:

Yes, it happened to me. I took the update and the startup goes to a black dos box. Had to uninstall and download the program again.

Check your permissions. I had this problem at some point and had to make sure the application had admin privileges. Also, reboot.

Sorry, should have read the whole post. Noticed you already tried my suggestion. Guess that's what I get for reading the forums during hands.

Really? I often see 2, 3, sometimes more on the same table that I've had previous history with (sometimes lots of previous history) & this is with MTT & SNG play (I'd imagine it'd be even more on the cash tables). I do make ALOT of notes though, I could be 6-tabling MTT's & still probably get a note on every single player on every single table I'm on, lol. On Fulltilt I have 6,864 KB of notes (lol... I just checked it). I'd be really, really choked to lose them (I actually store them on one of those USB storage thingys).

i solve the problem with the ways you uesd too,i just goto the fulltilt web site and download a new software and install it,and everything will be ok,just try it.
