I doubt it.. but am not completely sure of this.. those net books are just really low end laptops... just look at the specs and if it can handle the program then i dont see why it wouldnt work.. arn't they really low in pross. speed and ram... and low hard drives aswell.?

Full tilt will run fine on a windows netbook.

Your only issue will be with multitabling, namely the low screen resolution. Tiling 4 tables is difficult at 1024x600.

If this will be your only machine to play on I say no. If you play more than two tables at a time, forget it. HUDs are really cluttered on them. I use one but it is my backup and I usually Team Viewer into my main box when I use it.

Try to get a low end Laptop instead if you are trying to save bucks.

How many tables do you play?

Playing two tables is possible but anymore and the tables overlap and its hard to play, though the FTP client runs perfectly on a netbook.

Try eBay, you'll be able to find the maximum range of netbooks and laptops there.

If you have no problem playing stacked you wont have any issues at all.

Im so confused. I have people telling me that netbooks will run decently for fulltilt and I have other people telling me that there's no point in gettin one. The problem is that I'm a college student at a junior college and don't want a huge laptop. Is there any good laptops for under 400 or around there?

I play poker on a netbook and I have no problems with its speed whatsoever.
I have ASUS EeePC 1005P Intel Atom N450 1.66Hz Processor, 1Gb RAM, Win7 Starter edition. Hard drive size has very little to do with speed. Poker software does not require high specs PC. Your internet connection is more important.

I can run 3 different poker site clients with a couple of tables open on each at the same time with no probs.

I can also run FTP with Holdem Manager and play at 4 tables. I don't play more than 4 tables but if you want I can try to open more tables and see how it goes.

The only problem (not really, I got used to it) is a small screen. You won't be able to tile tables, but if you cascade or stack them you should be able to play them easily.

Well there you go... the words of someone who uses one. I would love to be mobile one day while playing poker and not stuck in one spot for days at a time.

My laptop is not beefy at all. It does have duel core, 2 gigs of memory, it is a dell inspiron 1420. I have no problems running poker sites, multitabling-which I do not do often, and running hem. I bought it 4 years years ago for around 800, it now runs about 400 I believe.

Did you look at the techbargains website. They usually have at least three deals for under 400 bucks.

Also do you have a Walmart near you or a radioshack. I am pretty sure they both sell netbooks a have a liberal return policy if it doesnt turn out to suit your needs. I know that radio shack in the past has allowed for returns of an item for whatever reason within 30 days.
