I played on FullTilt for several months with some success. One day I could not log on. I did everything their IT department suggested. After a month of not being able to log on, I asked to have my money refunded or cash in since I was ahead. I'm still trying to get it back. They request a photo ID and electric or utility bill. When they recieved it they say it is too dark or too light, etc. I have never seen a more unprofessional group that is intent on hanging onto your money. No other site has made me jump through so many hoops to send you a check. I've never had any poker site make me do this. On top of that they say I will never be able to play on FullTilt if I close my account. Do not join them.

Sounds like a user interface problem e.g. your connection or router... I had the same problem a few years back... and then i found out my router was blocking Fulltilt! It just happened over night. I'm in big doubts if it was Fulltilts problem at all.

I know stars is having some trouble with one of their servers. I ask on games when every one takes 10-20 secs to respond.

I have had pokerstars ask for the same ID you mentioned on my first withdraw. Only problem with FTP (minor) was I couldn't do a bank transfer to withdraw. I had done that on few prior withdraws but the option wasn't there. Requested a check with out any hassles.

Sounds like there protecting themselves and you from possible fraud. Not saying your trying to do this, from there perspective there are possible red flags.

If you close your account, don't think it means can't play there, only that ID probably can't be used again. Never heard of them turning away a depositor. Good luck, hope it's resoved soon for you.

FT can be a pain in the ass at times but they are still one of the most reputable sites. Just send them what they want. Mail it to them if they will let you. This is just a security measure and is actually common for them to do-it's so nobody jacks your cash.

poker stars is the way to go. FTP is actually a pretty good company, but they have some unbelievable flaws with customer support given that they are a wildly profitable company. For the life of me I can't figure out why they don't take some of their profit and spend it on a customer service upgrade given their poor customer service costs them a ton of business.

Anyway, I would recommend playing over at Poker Stars who is known for it's amazingly good customer support. Sorry to hear about your issues.

Not sure exactly what you mean by 'what process', it's been awhile since I've been able to cash out. (but haven't had to deposit either at least). I just withdrew directly to the credit card I had originally deposited with. I'm sure the fact that I had used the same card to deposit was the key though. (if that wasn't directed at me, just ignore..lol)

So sayeth the PokerStars red pro. :)

But, I'd say he speaks the truth regardless of his affiliation.

I just cashed out last Thursday and the money was already in my account today (Monday). I did another cash out yesterday and they approved it within minutes, I expect the money in a couple days.

This coming from a PS pro...seriously though, I'm just kiddin. I have gotten to the point where I prefer PS over FT. I played at FT for over 2 years, but opened my PS account about 4 months ago and rarely play at FT, unless its the daily dollar or a CC freeroll. I have had to email both a few times and by far PS support is quicker and more helpful.

Michael Jordan: "Adidas make pretty good sneakers but they have some unbelievable flaws with ankle support given they are a wildly profitable company...Anyway, I would recommend Nike who are known for their amazingly cushioned and protective footwear. :D

To be fair, I was more impressed by the PS customer service department when I was briefly there. Never had any real issues with FT though. I don't know if it's because I'm European but withdrawals have always been in my bank within 3 working days, no problems.

Full Tilt make it almost impossible to cash out the first time you do it, after depositing.

They asked me me to email them scanned copies of bankstatements and photo ids, before I withdrew, which caused me loads of hassle as I don't have a scanner.

If you just do it once you probably won't need to again.
I've never had this trouble with Stars, and withdrawing from there has always been easy.

Surprised this hasn't been mentioned, but where are the emails? What was their assessment of why you were not able to log in? What was the error message? And what did they suggest you do?

On your ID.... How did you send it? Did you scan your own bills? If so, surely the file is saved on your hard drive. Did they look dark to you? They don't fade in an emailed attachment.

What do you mean by 'never able to play'. Duh, if they close your account, how can you play? It always helps to post the email, because you try to re-iterate their exact words, and your own verbiage is ambiguous, and misconstrued from what FT actually meant. And no, they don't let folks close accounts only to start a new one later. No site does this. The reasons why should require no explanation.

I just love people who put up such stuff as first and only post. Are you still here?

Post the emails about the technical stuff -- maybe someone here can help you figure it out.

Make some very very clear scans of your documents and resend. It shouldn't be a big deal.

Don't close your account. Keep trying to sort out what's wrong with your connection. Or close your account if you really want to. But that's kinda foolish if you like to play poker online. FT is a great place to play.

I have never had to send in documents for my withdrawals either, i use Netteller as my main holding for my gambling.

If you open a neteller account, they carry out security checks and then affirm to the poker sites that you are a genuine person. For that reason, you will pretty much never have any hassle using Neteller (once they have passed you in the first place) and it`s an excellent option. Unfortunately, it is not available to our American friends.
