FULLTILT freerolls are a joke

I stopped playing the canada tournament for this exact reason 1431 players today 4 hours in and don even make 1 cent ,talk about having tobe perfect 37th place and its not the placing that bugs me think about it their paying top 27 ppl so were talking top like 1.7 percent of players ,that's a friggin joke nopoint playing that bs and that's super lame in general no wonder ppl are losing interest fast there.

The other ones have 4000 at a min up to 7500 and top 45 get paid so say its even 4000 players which its rare its that low ,its LIKE 1.1 PERCENT actually making anything that's retarded and that's at 4000 not 7500 which its often close to and 5 plus hours to achieve,all that does is leave 99 plus percent frustrated which when you make it 4 and 5 hours you should be in the damn money cmon.

just deposit then if you think freerolls are bad

they are literally giving money away and people can still complain about it

Excactly true . I completely agree with watever you are saying . But again its freeroll and they want people to spend large amt of time at their tables .
And many do if they want free money . its for attracting people and once your addicted you will deposit thats the plan .

But yeahh these $150 freeroll is the most frustating thing i ever plyed playing for 5 hours & then we get 0.11 dollars !! that too if we ake it in the top 45

they are actually very useful for practice, u get pissed off because you are playing them the wrong way (been there), with a 1% pay out u should mainly play the turbos and play super aggressive like make it or break it kind of play, u should be able to tell if you will make ITM by the first break, if not, you most likely wont .

i cashed several times playing like that in the 150T$ turbo, just be careful not to ruin your A game for the regular buy-in mtts

I think u are talking about , bankroll MOB freerols , pool prize is 25$ and about 82 -100 places paid , and u here take it 0.11$ for 5 hours . full tilt poker freerolls are 150$ and the lowest payout is 0.9$ for 45th place.

one time i won the razz freeroll for 18 bucks, i ran like a razz god, razz is a crazy game though if you get too into it you will be pissed off when your 6 low hand loses to his better 6 low hand etc. but it is possible to win money at the ftp freerolls, don't get frustrated that's a sign of weakness

Freerolls with 3 to 4000 runners are a waste of time.. Just deposit some cash and play some low buyin tourneys.

FTP Freerolls got me 80$ and with that money I started to play buy in MTT, So no they are not a joke they are awesome, and a tip, when you get to 37th place take it easy untill you get to the money (27 for example)
dont go all in when there are 30 people left, thats just a waste of 4 hours - unless your 100% sure you got the best hand

I do not know Yes No Do You Like To you play these tournaments you know you vaz been killed by long hours for a few cents, you have to find a way to play where there Gratutios Tournament Play all in with any hand, Why many players when it comes Freerolls are a MMMM

ya, they are terrible. I totally stopped playing at tilt anyways. I still have 500 bucks in my account that I have not seen yet, i thought tilt was cool back in the day now i just hate them with a passion. Especially whenever i plaed in free rolls starting out i didn't really like them compared to stars

As odo indicates, the lowest payout from an ftp freeroll is looking at the 1$ish range. Yes they are very few payout places for the amount of people usually in the freerolls, but it is free, and IMO.....THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN CASING IN A FREEROLL FOR ENOUGH $$$ TO NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING WITH IT.... I mean really, yes its great to win.08 as I did in a 50$ freeroll at carbon a while back, but havn't managed to cash in once since (also havn't been playing them as much), and so i have 8c on carbon and can't do anything with it.

I'd rather have to make the top 1% of the field and at least win enough to be able to do something with or, or so that at least if can manage to get together a few cashes it might be enough to start playing some micro cash or sng's. Just my two cents.

I think FTP is great for freeroll's because they run so many of them, it gives you the chance to play almost all day long in freeroll tournies if you wanted to on the site, and if you can manage a win the 18$ bucks would be a nice little br builder for sure, even for someone who lets say has 200$ on there, thats almost 10% increase for no risk.

i think freeroll are good way to nbuild up your bankroll if you dont want to play them so deposit moneyy ,,, ANYONE KNOW STH ABOUT TODAYS FREEROLL WITH TICKETS OIN FTP ?????

Look at it as an education / or a night(s) out. What's our min deposit for low buy in mtts? $7 tournies, say $50, even $35? It's far from proper bank roll mgmt (so I'm not recommending), but it's enough to hopefully cash one if you A game it.

Yes thats soo true . Im very much afraid of turbo tournaments and there even when i have best hand , then a flush turns and i loose . I think then it doesnt me i have best hand . But i cant judge until i see others cards

i like FTP a lot its a v.nice site had a good run on the cash tables then lost it all in anger because i went on FULL TILT on FULL TILT. the 150 usd freerolls takes ages but once i won like a dollar on it after like 4-5 hrs its really not worth the time. i won a ticket for the weekly freeroll will let u know what happens tonite

If you want to win big money, deposit your own money and risk them!
If you want to play for free, you won't win much, but it's free, so deal with it.

It is a joke. But you can enjoy it for the fun

deposit if you want real shot at money....freerolls are mostly all in fest anyway

yeah the freerolls on stars are even worse but if your goal is to build a bankroll I wouldn't recommend using the freerolls, like these guys said just make a deposit and go from there

I am with you on that one I guess. I still wish I could play there though. I love there avatars

I actually think that full tilt is one of the best sites for free rolls, they have lots of them and the actually pay dollar amounts. And even though they take a massively long time to complete, they have an advantage over other sites that I really like. They actually play like something resembling poker! Even though they are still free rolls so still terribly fishy, because of the structure skill actually plays a part bin the game.

Despite only being on full tilt for a little and despite only trying a few free rolls, I've had good success because they play like poker. I've played 3 Australia free rolls and cashed twice and had to leave early in the third, but I was an average stack in the high blind levels for that one. I've only played 2 of there 150 holdem free rolls but made deep runs in both despite not cashing. I played 1 of the 150 Omaha free rolls but it was at the same time as the Australia free roll that I had to leave early and I needed to leave this one early despite being a big stack. I've also found the round 1 free rolls that give weekly freroll tickets to the top 250 to be incredibly easy to cash in. I've cashed in 3/3 in those ones and just used me first ticket yesterday.

And I'll tell you what. That weekly $1000 free roll was really wonder full because I got to play real poker, skills actually played a really big part of it and despite being an ~12,500 player field (90 getting payed) I actually played for 5 1/2 hours only picking up a single premium hand, but I was actually able to use position and good play to pick up pots keeping me above average the entire time, I never even got lucky. It kinda sucked that I had to get up at 5:00am to play it and it ended in a really tough spot where on 91 players I had a weak over pair vs a player who looked to be quite capable of taking advantage of the bubble. I decided to make the call after a long think because I felt he could be doing it with a lot of big aces that had missed the flop and I had already long since decided I was more interested in making the final table than min cashing. Anyway he had the bigger over pair and I busted (fortunately the bubble had burst well I was in the hand) but the point Im making is that despite all this I was happy to go through it because it was actually a tournament that in involved real skill and was an excellent excersise in patience, concentration and real tournament play.

Basically what I'm saying is full tilts free rolls actually pay money that has some use and they play to a higher quality than a lot of other free rolls thus can be excellent practice for real tournament play.
