Does fulltilt have the best freerolls around?I was told about pokerstars and AP but when i visited those sites i didn't see where those where superior to FT.Having said that i am fairly still a rookie in this game trying to gain knowledge about poker and where to play.I would like to finish well in a few freerolls and i would like to play in the best ones possible.

Fulltilt doesn't really have any "good" freerolls. Your best bet for freerolls is to look at some of the smaller sites like PlayersOnly. Fulltilt's freerolls have massive fields and pay very few places.

Not sure your going to get an accurate gauge of where you stand in a freeroll. There is plenty to learn once you have played past the first break and have made it to the later rounds. When you start playing for small stakes that's where you should get a better test. Sit N Goes @ poker stars start for .10 .25 .50 cents. I have seen some tight tables and competive play there. Think the tickets you can win there from free rolls provide some good play as well.

I played free rolls for a couple years at party poker and Poker Stars and after a couple 8 hours sessions and a screen shot saying congrats on the tournament win you start getting your money in and playing for low stakes. At least you walk with something tangible.

I agree with CasperJames. The fulltilt freerolls are tough to make money. I just played in my first freeroll on FT with 10k players and 250 getting a coupon to another freeroll. I was lucky to get one, but now the next freeroll I'm sure will be another 10k players. The freeroll on carbon is not much better. I've heard PS are okay, but long.

Freerolls are what they are --- FREErolls. The only investment you will be making is time. Isn't it really up to you to decide what kind of 'return' appeals to you? There are FR's that pay $50, $100, $500, $1,000 or even $2,000 (Stars Round 2's). Check them out and decide what works for you.

There are no EASY freerolls. If they were easy... EVERYONE would be playing them and making buckets of cash.

How does anyone play FR's at PS or FT, there's way too many ppl and the pay-out is bad for sitting around playing for over 5 hours. Look for private FR's they are way better to play in but there are rules before you can play.

OR mow a lawn and deposit 20 bucks.
And then lose 20 bucks a few times before you get a good grip of the game.
It is more expensive, but playing the freerolls are just a joke and time is money so really it costs about the same.

Smaller sites always have the best freerolls, but a lot of them don't allow US players... FT is a good bet for freerolls though, i mean eventually if you play the ferguson every night and get a good run of cards and don't donk your chips away, you'll cash... from there its making sure you don't lose it! 7500 freerolls are beatable as well just long as hell...

My vote is for 2 rooms: Sportsbook - (numerous quality freerolls with nice prize funds, if you're willing to wade thru 4000 players to try to make the money. Carbonpoker - freerolls every 4 hours, smaller prize funds but only 1500 entries to try to overcome. You can play almost non-stop 24 hrs day if you include a couple of other of rooms. Enjoy yourself, and you never know, someone has to cash, and that can lead to a small bankroll to get you started. Good Luck!

There is a direct correlation between the ease of freeroll money, and the unlikelihood of ever being able to get your hands on your winnings.

Full Tilt is difficult (at least until you have access to some private freerolls). However, it is easy to cash out, you needn't have deposited or have earned any Frequent Player Points.

Conversely, Pitbull Poker was easy. They gave every new sign-up $10 free. Freerolls were held nearly every hour with decent payouts for the number of entrants. But, to cash out at Pitbull you needed to deposit, earn a lot of FPPs, and to have tried before they closed up shop and absconded with their employees' and customers' money.
