Hey Everyone,

Just wanted you all to know that one month ago I request 3 separate checks from Full Tilt. They were for $150, $200, and $280. They just sent me 3 emails saying they have a "technical issue" with their check processor. I'm sorry, but that's just horseshit. Full Tilt is a scam. Don't send your money there because they don't payout.

Why do we not just "put the hammer down" and ban all people who talk like this / make these ideas?

Because the online poker industry is just sketchy enough for anything like this to come out of left field and possibly be true. Sure, an inherant problem with Full Tilt is highly unlikely. But you never know.

Ordinarily I'd be skeptical as well but there have been numerous post very recently about problems with cashouts from both Tilt and Stars. Must be something behind the scenes causing issues industry wide (at least for US players) we don't know about yet.

For all you donkeys, here's one of the emails they sent me. I too have cashed out from them without a problem, but this is too weird.

Dear Tilter,
We are contacting you regarding your recent check withdrawal:
Date: 24-April-08
Amount: $150.00
Transaction: 01D4778D
Unfortunately this transaction was delayed due to a technical issue with our check withdrawal processor, which is outside of our control. Your transaction has now been processed and your funds will appear in your account with 5-7 Business days.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.
Sincerely,
full tilt poker Support

Evidence seems to be in 100% support of my plan not to withdraw until I can take out $30K at a time and say "Yo, skip the cheque nonsense and just EFT it to me biatches", IMO. 'Cause I'm straight bawler like that :p

/ semi-silliness

It's a bummer, but they're talking delays and not "We're never gonna pay you your money", right?

Ok, yeah. I may be wrong, but to me it sounds like they've stopped the cashout and in 5-7 days they're putting the money back into my account. It sounds like I can't cash the money out by check. Is this what you're all getting from their email or what? Thanks

You're right, the wording there is a bit ambiguous - I'd just e-mail them back to clarify which it is: is the withdrawl is going ahead (with a delay), or the money's being credited back to your Full Tilt account?

It looks like they might've mixed two standard e-mails together or something.

Yeah, the wording seemed weird to me too. I sent them an email when I received their emails today. It usually takes 24 hrs or so for them to respond. I'll let you all know what they say.

Ok. Yeah, I'm just damn pissed, ha. Let me ask you guys this....how do you deposit? For the past few years, I've been depositing to poker sites by using visa Gift to Go and All Access gift cards. Is it easier to withdraw if you fund your account by a bank account or what? Just wondering. Thanks

neteller till they bowed out of the US market.
Click2pay till they got mad at me and canceled my account.
epassporte till they cowered in the corner somewhere.
And now i use echecks on both pokerstars and fulltilt.

I don't know how.... (and I'm not complaining) but I use my normal visa/debit card at Tilt. The first time I tried it was denied, but my bank called me(Wells fargo) and I told them to put the deposit thru and they said o.k. and did it..... it's worked ever since.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to withdraw yet..... I always go broke first!

Yeah, my BofA Visa Debit works @ Bodog, but not a Stars for some reason. I use the check option @ Stars.

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted you all to know the issue got straightened out. I sent an email to support, and they said they sent me the wrong email. However, the processor was down for a week or so. My first two checks are now in the mail and the other's being processed. Thanks again for your help and advice. You all have a great weekend!

fulltilt withdrawal issues

I am well aware there are industry issues with electronic transfer. However, has anyone else had difficulty with paper checks too. FT "approved" my request to withdrawal via checks, but then the withdrawal options don't permit a check. Numerous e-mails to customer service have resulted in apologetic e-mails in return with indications they are working on it but its been over a month and still no way to get a check. Anyone else have this problem?

So to review: Since middle april i have tried to use the bank transfer option all to no avail (althoug I too have gotten the e-mails promising payment on May 23 along with a strings attached $300 bonus) and no means to withdraw by check.. How long can this go on before people abandon FT? I understand PokerStars at least sends you a check. Why would FT risk a cash cow by not making it possible for people to withdraw?

hey that is odd. I am having the same problem. it has been one month since i have requested withdraws. I have emailed them time and time again only to recieve an email saying the words "techinal issues" and "another 3-5 business days". Finally just two days ago i received an email from them saying that my money will be deposited in my account by Friday at the latest. Let's hope that there are no more "technical issues".
