Seeing as this is going to be the first year that I actually make an effort to win some sort of wsop package, I was wondering which site offers the best qualifying tournaments?

Full Tilt has a WSOP page that describes their tournaments and it sounds like they will be putting a fairly large number of entrants into the field. Does the number of players pokerstars put in the field rival that of Full Tilt? Or is it not even close? To anyone who has gone through the process, which site offers the best chances?

Didn't Full Tilt used to give a deal where if you qualified through Full Tilt, wore their logo, and won the Main Event they'd give you and extra $10 million. That's quite a deal.

I don't know what promos people the sites are running now though.

I think pokerstars have better WSOP packages because I think they give away a few packages as well. I'm sure that P'stars has to be the way to go, if you win multiple entrances/packages you can sell em or give em away I guess. Well best of luck in what ever you choose to do. :)

It's a Coinflip

What Up What Up What Up Welfok!

Yeah bro I would say a coinflip... but Pokerstars seems to have more events leading up to the big package...

My Two Cents,
Moe.;)

Is it worth playing in some of the less well known card rooms to try get there?

I would assume the volume of events on Stars and FT mean more options, but thousands more players to beat.

mayb b. There's tons of poker rooms that do offers to WSOP. Places like party poker/Everest/Bwin will take u there and the battle would b less players. Not too sure about the entry fee's tho.

From what I've seen so far Full Tilt by far.

also:
"In addition to the $10 million bonus, if you finish in the money at this year's Main Event, we'll give you a free seat to the 2011 Main Event."

I am going to have a go at the ones on Stars.

The Steps satellites look good there as you can but in for as little as $7.50. and I am mostly a sit n go player.

Yeah UB has the same thing... But you have to play the Steps events and win your way from Step 1 to the last step.

The Steps on Full Tilt are way better than on Stars, first level stars at $3.30. You can use FPP's and Iron Man medals to buy into whatever level you want to start at.
