My son is visiting from out of town and today we registered to play the Daily Dollar at FT together. Five minutes into the tournament it dawned on me that we were playing from the same IP address and that this could likely be a problem. We both busted out early but I doubt that would matter to the Full Tilt powers that be.

Does anyone have any input whether this will indeed be a problem? If so, any suggestions what I might do about it? I was thinking that maybe I should write Full Tilt about it?

My brother in law and I both play online, and there was a time that we were both in the same MTT at my house. I emailed FT to see if it was OK before hand, and they said that would be no problem. Since then I have taken my laptop over to his place and played in the same MTT's.

Just make sure you play honestly against each other if you end up at the same table. Don't share hold card information, don't softplay etc.

Thats fine, they auto block games you cannot play together, stt's, mtt's with less than 50ish ppl, and same cash tables.

Yeah. You are definitely better off giving FT the heads up that there is no collusion and you are both straight up players under the same roof. They're understanding and I'm sure you'll be fine. My girl and I play under the same roof as well.

Thanks so much, all! I feel much less worried now and am going to write Full Tilt.

Ahhhhhh, good to know. I was wondering if a Collusion Ban would kick into effect as per IP addresses was ever traced on simultaneous play.

Lol no, I emailed them back and forth a few times on different issues or tournaments and mentioned that I wanted to make sure I was not breaking and rules, they basically told me relax, if we can both register, we can both play. Their software auto blocks any that we should not be playing together and the second person will not be able to register.

Husband and wife can play from the same computer with seperate accounts but sharing one account is not allowed-is this correct?

100% correct. Sharing one account is not only not allowed, it will get your account permanently suspended.

Received response from Full Tilt this morning and, yes, said it was no problem as long as we had separate accounts. Also, that registration wouldn't be possible where two household accounts weren't allowed to play which I understand to be almost anything other than MTT, Rush poker and Heads Up SNGs. A warning, of course, of any indication of collusion or fraud.
