I will receive a step 3 ticket through the holiday full tilt store promo. What is the best 24+2 out there. I have only taken one shot at that level and I only made it through about 1/3 of the field. Best one I seem to be able to find is the 33k guarantee KO double stack(I like double stack), but would like some advise.

I don't really like the step tournament system and I utterly hate turbos.

I'm a fan of paying the extra 7 bucks and playing the $33 KO. I don't play at FT much anymore so I can't speak for the action, but you'll find slimmer fields at off-hours (mornings) depending on where you live.

I am going to receive a ticket which I can't trade for cash or tournament dollars.

I'd play the 24+2 Rush turbo multi-table SNG's. (Not to be confused with Rush MTT's in the tournaments tab).

They are pretty soft and there's always a small 4-figure payout for 1st. Because they are turbos, they're are done in 2.5 hrs or so, versus 6-7 hours for one of the vlrg gtd tournies.

I like the 42k G (14:00) and the 32k G (18:00). Both are deep stack-non turbo -non KO. Takes about 3 + change hours to hit the money with a good mix of novice and strong players at most tables.

It looks like full tilt got rid of the 24+2 matrix sngs, as well as all 24+2 cashout tournaments(If there ever were any).

Wow, that sucks. They did eliminate a lot of them. I saw a few just last week...

It appears though that there are still a few $24+2 MTT cashout tourneys. I am looking at a 45-man and 90-man $24+2 SNG right now, and I think I'd probably be playing the 90-man KO deep stack SNG with a step 3 ticket at the moment.

They are in the Sit 'n Go > MTT and Tournament filter sections. The 45 and 90 man sit 'n gos are 'round the clock, whenever registration hits the maximum.

Here's one tourney ID for example: 211773787

Maybe check your filters to make sure you are not excluding anything?

I'm looking for cashout, not knockout. But thank you for trying to help.

I'm not really sure what you mean by cashout then... those 45 and 90 man SNG will allow you to use your ticket and get cash if you place. You're just looking for a way to use the step 3 ticket to get cash without having to ascend the steps ladder, right? Are you looking for a tournament with a more flat payout structure?

EDIT: SORRY! Nevermind, I googled and saw there is an actual "cashout" tourney structure that allows "premature cashulation". I guess FTP eliminated these as well as the SNG Matrix ones. That's really too bad.

--- probably disregard below this line, but for anyone interested ----

Here's another tourney you can get cash by entering with a step 3 ticket: $32,000 guarantee ID 211746049

There are also some Rush On-Demand tourneys you can use the $24+2 ticket for.

There's also MiniFTOPS Event #44 which you can enter into with a step 3 ticket. It doesn't start until March though. Tourney ID: 209630746.
