Full Tilt Reduces Value of an FTP
Today for the first time I noticed that the value of an ftp was decreased by full tilt poker
. FTPs used to be worth approximately .5 cents/ftp, so a seat in the daily dollar ($1 buy-in) cost 200 ftps. A set of shot glasses in the ftp store cost 4,000 FTPs earlier this week. Now, full tilt has reduced the value to about .45 cents/ftp (a 10% decrease). Is this due to more happy hour promotions (such as 3x ftps) and the academy store offering 5000 ftps for 5000 academy credits (which I take advantage of a lot), allow players to gain more ftps quicker? Today, a set of shot glasses is 5,000 ftps (which is the only item I saw to increase more than 10%), and a daily dollar ticket is 225 ftps, the 25,000 ftp jerseys are now 27,500 ftps, which is consistent with a 10% increase. Did anyone notice this sooner? What is your theory on why ftp would reduce the value of their ftps? Do you think it has to do with people making tons of ftps in rush poker and during rush poker happy hour?
