Hello.

I am from Russia. Playing poker about two years. I do not know much English, but I want to share with you my stories.
How I played on fulltiltpoker.

Prior to that, on FullTilt, I have not played and as it turned to happiness ... : (

I registered, made a deposit and start playing. I feel good, both in cash games and in the MTT. First I won a multi-table tournaments. Something about $ 300. To celebrate he went to play poker Rush. Played more of a plus. And raised the stakes.
In parallel, I was playing Single Table SNG. And then one day I was lucky! I took the first place. My bankroll was 1k +.

I started playing poker Rush. UP to limit NL400. And a good feeling out there. Played on 2-3 tables at Rush. My bankroll has reached figures in $ 1500! I am ready to become Ironman and was planning on that I would spend my glasses. But there was a terrible downstrick + tilt! I lost about 1k a night. Realizing that the need to take a break, I asked the remaining 454 dollars to a conclusion.

After 2 days my account is blocked!

In response to my letters support at first did not answer. Then I decided to go to The Alderney gambling Control Commission (AGCC). After writing to them, a support FullTilt told me. And they said that I played at a table with scammers!

As a result, my account is blocked and the money was not returned.

I demanded proof that I was playing fair. But never received an answer from them! They had nothing to say to me!

A support service The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) wrote to me:

"Dear Sergey,

Thank you for your email. I have investigated your claims against full tilt poker, who have provided sufficient evidence to support their decision to close your account and seize your funds, totalling $454.11. Please note that Full Tilt Poker are no obligation to disclose their reasons for blocking your access to your account and denying you use of their services. This is an industry standard policy, which the AGCC will have not have any involvement in.

No further action will be taken on your complaint.

Kind regards "

In a nutshell - they are NOT OBLIGED TO EXPLAIN THE REASON OF BLOCKING ! I was shocked!

And that I received from the Organization that LICENSES this Room!

CONCLUSION: IF FULLTILTPOKER WANT TO TAKE YOU MONEY, then they DO NOT even have to EXPLAIN to you a REASON!

IF SOMEONE ELSE THINKS TO PLAY IN FTP, then I recommend THINK AGAIN!
AS SOON AS YOU WIN BIG AMOUNT and will at the same table with cheater, they immediately Lock your account and take away ALL YOUR MONEY !

And NOBODY will help You...

Thanks. Best my wishes.

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience with FTP. Maybe they have temporarily closed you account for review. they sometimes do this, especially with players who go from their initial deposit to 4 figures very quickly. They do this to make sure you have not been cheating or colluding in any way. Did you make sure to provide all the identity verification they requested? Was it all in order? Sometimes if there was an error or discrepancy in the paperwork they will close you account until it is straightened out.

Every time a player makes their first cash-out from FTP, their account gets reviewed. Usually they do not close an account unless it has been found you were at the same tables as found cheaters.

If you did nothing wrong, then I'm sure your account will be re-opened, and your funds returned to you.

Immediately making demands and going to the Gaming Commission is not the way to go about these things. You should keep an open and polite dialog with FTP support. Key word being 'polite'.

They don't have to tell you any reason they closed your account. It is clearly stated in the Terms of Service that you agreed to when you joined the site. You did read the ToS didn't you?

Again, if you did nothing wrong and did not cheat, then your account will eventually be re-opened and your funds returned. Just be polite and patient.

By the way, myself and many other members of this forum have made numerous large cashes and cash-outs from FTP and never had any problems. They are not scamming you.

FTP are an international, mega corporation. Do you really think they will 'scam' you out of $450?

What are the odds being offered on the poster never returning to CC?

Sorry about your bad experience with full tilt poker and your downswing from $1500 to $454 to it being blocked. Sad story, my best wishes.

As quoted by you, the report of the Gambling Control Commission says:
I have investigated your claims against Full Tilt Poker, who have provided sufficient evidence to support their decision to close your account and seize your funds,
Meaning that they did show evidence to the GCC, and the GCC accept that their evidence is good. They don`t show it to you, because they don`t want to tip off cheaters about the detection methods used and the type of evidence collected.

My advice to you - find a new scam, this one failed. Better yet - get a job. :p

I think we are all missing the real point this guy is making.

The non disclosure part of the decision. It will cause all sites a mountain of grief when the U.S. decides to regulate online poker.

This policy will never fly here. The equivalent is that your bank decides you might have been guilty of speeding and so is confiscating all your funds, and won't even tell you they thought you might have been speeding! And you will not get any explanation of what happened, ever.

Bad policy.

That said, I can see where the sites might want to keep their methods of detection close to the chest, but their decisions will, eventually, have to stand up to the light of day.

Without revising this policy in some meaningful way, no offshore site will ever get licensed to offer games in the U.S.

The reality is OP was prolly using bot or other forbidden software. Multiple accounts. Maybe chip dumping? Most likely something bad. Funny you don't hear about this to often though(or ever).

I still don't like the fact they can freeze assets without showing any proof. They should have at least gave a reason IMO.

It is unfortunate that they froze your account. I hope they unfreeze it and you get your money back. And ya, I agree that it is unfair for them to not have to give you a reason.

Full Tilt don`t have to give a reason to the player, but they DO have to explain to the regulator if asked to do so. By OP`s own account of it, that is what happened in this case.

The AGCC is a government agency appointed by the States of Alderney, a British Dependent Territory. The reason for their existence is to license and regulate the gambling industry based there and to investigate complaints.

OP had his official investigation and the authorities ruled that he IS a cheater and that Full Tilt are justified in closing him down. It`s not unfair, he hasn`t been hard done by, and he doesn`t deserve a shred of sympathy.
