Any idea for how long the FTP points are valid at full tilt poker, is it like valid for life or are they forfeited after a year or two?

Thanks people for clarifying this question and for your responses. I understand FTP points are set off against your rakeback if you use the points, is that true, and if yes do they set it off against your rakeback just for the week u used the points or cumulatively?

They are set off against your rakeback until you earn enough to cover the "cost" of the points. So if you spend alot of points and you rake a small amount it will take you a long time to start getting paid your rakeback.

I've never redeemed any FT points, and have a rakeback account. I just hit the 12,000 point mark. What's the best value to spend them on?

If you don't have a Black card I think you get most value buying tournament tickets. The more expensive ones have better value but you must remember that you may not have the edge in the higher buyins that you would in the smaller ones.

I`ve spent mine mostly on daily dollar tickets . I also use them to enter the 300 ftp`s tournement for the 75$ ticket tourney`s. There is several tournements you can buy-in to. I like the 95ftp sat entry sng. That gets you a 11$ entry fee into the midnight madness .If you unregister you can get cash for the exchange too so this can help you build you br. too.

I found that points are a great way to build a bankroll and I like how the sites don't make you forfeit the points. At one time I had 4k in points and was saving them until I got drunk one night and wasted them all away, now time to start building them again.

I use my points to sat into the daily dollar, its 60pts for a 9man sng which are not a very high level, top two get a ticket.5rd get a small bit of change think its 70cent, u might as well use them as let them sit in your cashier gathering dust.
