I used a $1 satelite and got into the Jan. 3rd tournament. Should I play in this? It seems like there is going to be 50,000 players which is just rediculous. It seems to me I should just get the 5.50 Tournament coupon. What do you guys think?

I saw this too. I'll probably play in these as long as I don't have crap going on those days. Usually tournaments like this are easy as hell to satellite into, so I might just go that route to get double my money ;).

just the single table SnGs are usually VERY easy to beat. They will most times pay top two, just depends on what the satty is for.

I will probably play in all or most of these. I will just buy in direct - hate satellites lol.

I will play two out of the four. Turbo games are not my cup of tea and i try to stay away from them as much as possible. Large fields like this in the past on full tilt have had some lag - hope they have fixed this. Like to make a deep run in one of these suckers one day LOL.

I am gonna play all 4 most likely. I like these large tournaments with guarantees. I feel it is easier to make it ITM in these sometimes, because there are alot of players, but that means extra fishies too, as well as good players tho. I don't like turbo's as much either, ut will give em a shot. The FTOPS turbo NLHe was cake to cash in, bubble was over in no time. Hopefully I will do as well, but even better in these! GL! oh, and i won't be satteliting prolly, just buy in direct.

I agree with given. I proly wont be playing in the turbos but will be in the other two.

The FTOPS warm up back in Novermber will be real similar to the turbos' 40k + people and the blinds are so high at 3000 people its already shove/fold. I did make it to 915 then out of like 43k, but that was only like a $20 cash.
So I guess maybe if the payout structure is better... nahh proly not.

I played in the last one and ended up 6750th or somewhere in there. Had pocket queens and got knocked out with aces. I'll be in this one.

It seems to me that you need too much luck to ITM in one of those I might check the SnG with 2 players get tickets and un-register, those are truly easy like the 0.25+0.05 for the $1 tournoment with 10k gauranteed prize pool, usually they got 12k players so they are covering it all the time.

I was actually all prepared to play Sunday but then I decided to check the Magic 8 Ball and it said "Not advised at this time" so I didn't.

I'll see what the Magic 8 Ball says next Sunday.

i like the concept but it has too many people in it and its a turbo donkfest. i hv played it 2x and been out early u start with 1500 chips and 5 min blinds not a tourny that involves alot of skill, if ur a lucky donk then try ur luck. mos tof the people on cardschat however know how to play cards and r wasting there time if they play this tourny ,that is such a minefield.
