Opened a new account with on full tilt and made a deposit. Had no problems sending money to my account. Tried to log in and play and i get an invalid login or password message. I requested a new password several times and none worked. email their so called 24/7 Customer Support 12 hours ago and still nothing but an automated response. I think an issue like this with a new customer is unacceptable. I have lost all interest in this site and just want my money back.

FT is not known for having outstanding support. The gold standard these days will be bodog IMO, followed closely by Stars. I agree they should be more attentive to new depositors.

But I must say that your post suggests a great amount of impatience, so once this gets figured out and you reconsider, please advise us of the games you play.;)

k?, thnx........

RE: post suggests a great amount of impatience; Yes, 12 hours and no help from a claimed 24/7 customer support. Thats just bad business.

Sorry about your luck man, I've always had good experiences with Full Tilt. I think they're probably the best poker site I've played at.

^ this. It sounds like an abnormal case. Their login system is pretty robust and they're a big company so they're not in the habit of stealing people's initial deposits for no good reason.

If this isn't your first account with them, however, then you've voilated their terms of service. That would probably explain the situation and their customer support isn't renowned for their quick responses on those issues.

Caps lock -Good 1, lolol.

Its awful that full tilt doesn’t have a phone # to call to knock out problems quick.

But I find that it usually takes a day or so for a reply, if u email the right subgroup at full tilt for that initial email response. If u submit to the blanket customer service email address it takes forever though lol.

if u need a return reply just hit reply and it takes way less time.

If ur really so frustrated (and I hope ur old enough) go down or make a trip to ur local casino. U don’t need a lot to start, just get a mbrs card and play in a 50 or 100$ tourn and enjoy urself.

That's the first thing I thought of Alligator.

If he's using another account on the same computer that another previous account used, and especially if he used the same account to deposit, they could suspect that he could be breaking the rules by creating a second account.

In that case I think they usually transfer the $ to his original account, unless they use their right (as part of the agreement he signed up for) to confiscate the funds for the infringement of their rules.

I'm having issues with full tilt support aswell. They caught me having multiple accounts and closed my active account(idiots). I have $181 on that account. They told me to respond to the email and they will transfer the funds to my old account, I responded and now I am waiting for a response back. It has been 10 hours.

So by your own admission you got caught violating their terms of service... but somehow they're the idots?

You've lost me, how exactly does that work?

They are idiots for busting you for having multiple accounts? Did you think they were just going to let you keep going? You really should be glad if you do get your money back. And I really don't feel bad for you waiting 10 hours so far...I would rather they help people with real problems than rush to fix cheater's accounts. They should ban you alltogether.

Yeah like a few other people said full tilt usually takes about a day or a day and a half to respond most of the time because they have so much traffic. The real pain in the arse is if you want to have a conversation with support which is what this looks like it might turn into so good luck with that.

I don't know when we made my account on tilt we had to go throw a lot as my husband already had one and we had same ip but different computers. I think they locked both accounts till they got my id to prove I was who I said I was. It didn't take more than a day for the whole thing to be resolved. I think the thing is you must make sure you contact the right people.

As far has having more than one account I think as long as you don't deposit money they let you open more. I know I used to have a few on pacific poker before they made it unplayable in the US. I wasn't even 18 yet and I lost my pass word and no longer had access to the email any more so I would make a new one. Maybe this is what happened CheeseMaker they had old accounts they forgot about then made one to play one with real money, and then tilt found the others.

The pattern seems to be that legitimate issues like yours get resolved first while multi-accounters like we're hearing from above get put on the bottom of the pile.

Which is fair enough, IMO.

In my opinion there should be more posting for new players as to how poker rooms operate. How rake is generated and poker rooms and forums and other sites who get you to sign up benefit from your signup and links. I know when I play at the casino they will send me booze and food. Online rakeback is the first key everyone should be looking for when joining a room. Serious players should allways have an exit strategy.

I play for fun and profit and there is no profit if you can't cash out. I suggest you compile a list of your poker rooms, usernames and passwords and the sight you signed up through and what goodies are offered. Keep it in a safe place.

Also keep a log of your buyins and Cashouts. While today there is not much tracking of gambling wins and losses that is subject to change. I report my wins and losses on tax returns based on my actual cash in and out of a poker room not day to day wins and losses. I figure there is to much uncertainty about cashouts to report day to day wins and losses.

Full tilt has two different websites and two different softwares, one is .net and one is .com. Make sure you are using the same one you started with.
