Did full tilt make any changes as of the last 3 weeks that I should know about? I've never had problems depositing with my bank debit card or various prepaid visas. Now, they won't accept either, and are saying it's "due to circumstances out of their control".

What's going on can someone clue me in?

Mayhaps it is due to your bank, or the card issuer not allowing use of those cards for deposits online or for online gaming. For example, I had a Capitol One card that I used frewuently a few years ago. While making a deposit at Full TIlt, I was informed that my depsoit was turned down for "reasons beyond their control". Tuens out that the card issuer (Cap One) no longer allowed it's card to be used for such purposes as deposits to online gaming sites.

Perhaps your card provider has recently done the same?

And I suppose I'll pre-empt the ensuing posts about using instadebit, Moneybookers and so on. These options are probably your best bet for hallse free deposits and withdrawls (after the hassle of setting up the accounts of course)

I used my All access visa a couple of days before that. Full didn't use their name when the loaded the money on the site. Forgot the name they used but I had no problems then. Don't know how it is now.

I've had trouble deposting as well. I'm not exactly sure when the rules changed in canada - or what they changed to - but credit cards haven't been working anymore.

Most credit cards associated with your bank account (debit card) will work.

Internet Gambling Act of 2006

Most credit cards associated with your bank account (debit card) will work.

Not with Wachovia or Wells Fargo or Chevy Chase. (The all-access type card might still work. If not, you can always use it for other purchases, should the sites not accept them anymore.)

The proverbial noose is tightening due to the Internet gambling Act; deferred 'til later in the summer on The Hill. I can tell you, from recent correspondence with my own Representative, this will not be an easy go on the floor. He will not reconsider changing his original vote supporting the act in 2006.
