can anyone help me out im from australia but have recently moved to brazil, i set up my account from brazil so gave my address here , but my credit card billing address is in australia, now theyer asking for i.d etc which i can provide but the proof of address i cant , as im living here with friends and have no bills or anything from here in my name, has anyone had anything similar happen??? my accout has been suspended , any advice would be great, thanks , chur:mad:

I would email them with a detailed explanation of your situation, and ask them how you can get this cleared up. Be polite and forward with all information, I would expect there would be a way to get this straitened out. If your account is suspended, there will be a reason they have done this, they may suspect some kind of fraud or some other type of wrong doing, but if you can provide them with answers to their questions, and explain that you simply want to play in your new location, I am sure you will get this cleared up. There my be some TOS where you need to provide proof of residency, but just explain and ask how you can work this out.
Are you there just for a visit? You may need to wait till you are back home if there is a residency clause in the TOS, or if you have moved there, get some kind of proof. Good luck in any case.

Ditto, send an email explaining the situation. However, I suspect that without proof of address, you're in a pickle and wouldn't be surprised if the situation can't be resolved in a way you'll be happy with.

Contact your credit card company. Have them change your address to your address in Brazil.

one of three things happen... 1) you created a multiple account to get rake back or into some freeroll. 2) your account has never been varified and your transfering money to other accounts (or to an account that is not varified 3) you let other accounts sign on using your computer (ip address) This is the only reasons i usually hear for accounts being suspended. If you did create a multiple account dont expect to get it back any time soon. And if you do get it back they will give yout he first one you made from australia. If its a different issue you wont get it back until all the accounts in question have been verified

cheers for the advice, ive managed to change my credit card address and have emaild all required documnts to ftp .. still waiting on a reply... 4 days now.. as soon as i get the money back ill be leaving ftp for sure..that customer serivce is shocking..

just as a side note, I have heard this before. But it is a reputable site, so if you can ignore this incident - and they probably have a legit reason for their actions, they are not bullys just for the fun of it - there are cool games (and CC freerolls lol) and a lot of traffic. But I know how it is to be pissed off, and there are other sites out there. Either way, good luck, post how it went if you can.

To avoid scams or fraudulent players some sites need to do these kind of checks, in the end this is good for the overall security and safety of the site.

When I had my account verified it was pretty straight forward. But, with your circumstances it may take them longer. Be patient and polite. Did they give you any reference number to use when contacting them about the verification? You may want to shoot them an email asking for the status of your verification and if there is anything else that they need.

finally got my account opened , only to find that my account ablance is zero, when i had 300$ in there before, have contacted them again but as yet no reply about this.. anyone else had this happen??

still waiting a reply about my missing funds, its 24hrs now, does complaining to the igc do anything?? im starting to get really pissed off with ftp now,

Thats gotta be some mistake because I dont think that your 300$ mean something to them. They do need some time to give U the answer threw their customer service, but they finally do and its always fair.
