Full Tilt $5k special

What a great overlay this one had.

Cost was $.50+$.10 to enter, max 12000 entrants. When the tournament started there were 2000 in it, for some reason they ran the late registration through two whole blind levels instead of 1 and ended up near 4000 entrants.

1080 got paid.

I just kinda hung in for awhile, finished around 600th and got a whole $1.50 back.

I'll definitely be looking for more of these, I think I can do without the 10 cent buyin one though, it will probably get to the breakeven point of entrants.

1080/4000 paid? You could probably just register and sit out til the money lol.

I played too, I think I should have taken your advice and sit out for a while..lol... I fell out around 2500...ouch...but I went out with a pretty hand, so I was not too upset...
I wish they would have cut the registration as soon as the game started, cause that would have made the ods for a payout real high. Congrats MDted with the $1.50.
Btw...1st place in this tourney took home $799...

Are these daily games or ddo they run more often?

it must of been a one shot deal, don't know how i missed it.
all i can find are the .10 - 1k.
but i'll keep a look out. thanks in case they run it again.

theres one everyday at 5:35pm. EST,, think it pays 153 spots, its a rebuy, .50 for rebuys & addon at first break, i played it once last year,,, buck

the $1K special is located in the tournaments section, easiest to find if you click on the cash tab, then sort by buy-in (ascending) and it should be at the top of the list. There are two today:
15:15 ET
20:15 ET

It pays out 1080 places, so it's pretty easy to cash, just takes a very long time...

Buck, these aren't the same as what you saw before. I think FT is testing their ability to have large fields in tournaments. They started with the 12000 entrant freerolls, now they are testing it with real money.

The 10 cent ones aren't rebuys, they have 12k max entrants and run somewhere in the evenings.

I got pretty close to money on that one, about 1205 or so. Those pocket Q's can be a real let down sometimes. So far these 1k and 5k look like one shot deals, since they don't have anymore posted up.. save for the .10 re buy one. I defiantly hope they implement more of these .10 buy in tourneys in the future!

Tilt is testing the format, I did cash in the tourny. dont usually play those but had a last longer with pokerbytrade

If anybody sees another one of these elusive .50+.10 5ks with the 25% payout structure please let the rest of us know when it is I'll do the same.

These sound like they could be quick bankroll boosters for those without a lot of money.

Large field but with the small buy in sounds worth and who knows could be lots of fun. I would like to try it if i see one up. gl all

haha I actually did this..
I registered and had some things to do..
Then came back and noticed I won $1.50 without even playing a hand..

the 10 cents rebuy tournaments on FT are every day staring at 17.35, got once 7th place without any rebuy or add on and made 44$ woo hoo
