So, playing on Full Flush a bit lately, noticed a lot of like $50 GTD and $100 GTD tournaments happening (small buy-ins)- minimum registrants is usually 5 or 10 people. And when they start, often times they have just barely over the minimum number of registrants, which doesn't even cover the guaranteed prize pool. How are they able to do this and actually make money off it? Just comes off as a bit fishy to me

I am not sure how they do but they are the best in town. I made 1500 off them last month in two tourneys but they are the best overlays I have ever seen. They make it real hard to move to a different site.

Have you actually received any checks from them though? I looked at their withdrawal options, the fees are pretty steep. Though, as a US player, beggers can't really be choosers

I imagine that they do it for proving different sites and seeing since it they goes. It is like to prove the luck

guaranteed money tournaments that are very good with one dollar can make a lot of money ... of course it all depends on your skill and overstep the occasional fish

Yeah, I like playing their specially in the mornings, not many people get into the tournament's, so with a little patience you're in the cash.

The are a steadily growing site. That have recently upped the prizepools of several of their MTT's. I assume there real source of income comes from cash game rake. The cash game traffic is pretty decent, and limits up to $3/$6 are constantly running. This allows them to make up for having some MTT's that have overlay. Eventually I see them consistently hitting their guarantee's, but for now, it seems they will keep upping them for a while. This, in turn, draws in more player traffic... As the prizepools go up, usually the turnouts increase... Hence an increase in player traffic, and hopefully (from the site's perspective) more rake being generated.. Hope that makes sense.

I have played there the last few days and really enjoy it. I like it much better than Carbon. They also offer a lot of free rolls which I really like as a low limit player.

Yeah, that makes sense. Kudos for that response. Side note, really happy with the gameplay so far on the site. Seems pretty legit, hoping they stay around for a bit

No problem. Glad I could help... I'm liking FullFLush, and have been playing there occasionally. The only thing that kinda errks me is the weird payout structures and the fact that their MTT's structures don't have ante's. Other than that, no complaints here.;) I forgot to mention in my previous post, as far as overlays go, those are a poker players best friend. Never complain about overlays (even if it may seem fishy,) cause the alternative is them reducing their prizepools. I'm sure we can agree that bigger prizepools are better than smaller one's.;)

I feel they are trying to get new players to come. I mean with nice overlays why wouldn't you want to play they run many free roles everyday so what's a few more hundred in overlays... it makes me want to deposit because I would definitely get more bang for my buck

They make their money from the rake in cash games. Losing 100$ in an overlay is nothing when their is 50 tables taking 1$ per 20 seconds.

There are a reason that these $100 tournaments have room for them to give money away; between the rake on cash games and on tournament fees ($0.10 for every entrant), an overlay of ~$60 is nothing. If anything, it gathers new players to the site due to these low stakes overlays.

FullFlush Poker has raised the nightly 2k tourney to 3k & raised the 1k nightly tourney to 1.5k The 3k tourney had 204 players with $5.00+.50 buy in. The 1.5k had 157 players with a $3.50 +.35 buy in.I didn't get to enter either tourney tonight but plan on it .The poker traffic on Full Flush keeps improving.Payouts are fast.

I never paid any attention to Full Flush. Didn't want another room. Now I notice we do a Monday FR there. I'm reconsidering. Researching the site before downloading and signing up. Read this thread; any others on CC to peruse? More personal opinions (can PM me)? Thanks.

HA. Everyone talking about how they like it. I am trying to build up my bankroll so I can cash out and get away from them. Nice site though for micro-grinders. I am at $126.xx right now started from $0. Highest has been $148.xx

Rebuys and Add-ons. I think that is how they cover expenses. I don't know if this is true generally but in at least one GTD tournament I've noticed that rebuys and addons did not change the prize pool even after the GTD amount had been already covered by buy-ins. So it seems that prize pool remains the same no matter how many rebuys and add-ons there are....

Not true. Just played one yesterday and cash went up cause was enough players and re-buys and add-ons.
