You get enough FTPs to enter the next round. I think you might be automatically registered for it - but I've heard that you can un-register and use the points elsewhere.

Nailed it. You are automatically registered but can unregister and get the FTPs. I recommend withdrawing and using the FTPs for other tourneys.

Well, I may never know as I simply can't seem to ever hit the register button fast enough on these. I mean I sit there and click the area where the button is going to be and I still can't seem to register before they fill up.

Anyone have any tips on simply getting registered for these?

TRB if you go to the tab in the lobby where it says sit n go you will see the 2 tornaments the 180 and 360 player its best to open the lobbies and wait you can get in pretty easy that way
But they are serious donkfests lol
:) Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

TRB open the lobby as lotsilora said. You'll only have about 1/10th of a second to register.
It works best during times when less people play (e.g. after 2 a.m. eastern time = 8 a.m. CET)

These aren't easy to get into! But if you quickly click the button during the minute they are about to start you can do it. Just be careful not to unregister yourself. That sucks when that happens.

i guess the retards of this site took my answer off if you win you can unregister and and take the points and play with them if you want to.. i like to take them and play fro tokens ...have fun

care to elaborate????? Its generally not a good idea to call a sites moderators retards. If you want to find out why a post may have been deleted contact them via pm.

As for the OP.........sometimes it can be difficult. it may sound silly but, on my computer i have a "analog" clock with the seconds hands on it. i just watch that and when there is about 15 seconds left before open to register i start clicking, but as someone else mentioned be careful not to unregister.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like I am already doing everything I can to register for these, but still only managing to register for about 1 in 20 tries.

I hadn't thought of the computer analog clock though. That's a very good idea to keep track of the seconds.

Looks like I may just have to get up early some morning if I want to play any of these. It is much easier for me to get up at 5 AM than to stay up to 2 AM.

As it's been mentioned, opening your computer's clock and counting the time is probably the easiest way to close to pinpoint the time when registration begins. By my estimate, it's about every 3 minutes and 1 or 2 seconds, so 181/182 seconds total. By adding those few extra seconds, FT can vary the registration times. If you miss out on registering for one, just add approximately 3 minutes and 1 sec for the next registration time.

One thing I've noticed is that even if I hit the register button immediately after it appears, I miss out sometimes. But interestingly, I've been able to get in when I click the registration button area a split second before it appears.

It's a hassle to set up the registration and all that, but it's a lot better than sitting in front of the screen and continuously missing the registration for 30 minutes!:D

Well I've been doing the click where the registration button will appear thing and still not getting registered.

The only thing I haven't been doing is using a clock with a second hand to try to time things out better.

Just as an experiement, I tried registering for one of these this morning at 7:00 AM ET. While the tournament filled up in less than a second, I was able to register for it. Sounds like if I want to play the 180s with 2 prizes, I'll have to do it early in the day.

Thanks to everyone for their comments on this. Sorry for hijacking the thread.

just an fyi....... part of your problem could be your network. if your using wireless try connecting directly to your router or modem. because they fill up so fast, any lag on your end will make it nearly impossible.

While I have a wireless router, I am plugged directly in to the router and my kids computers and the laptop are connected wirelessly, so I am probably in the fastest configuration reasonably available to me.

Thanks to all these suggestions, I will probably try some experimentation with particulat setups to see if anything makes it possible to register.

Thanks again to everyone who had ideas on this.
