Just saw that the Take 2 Promo will be running again at FTP again in my Promotions page. Here are the details for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Remember that you have to opt in for it, and that you aren't just automatically going to get this promo.

Take 2 at full tilt poker to earn up to $25 AND double the Full Tilt Points that you’d normally receive for playing in your favorite ring games.
Running from Friday, October 15th to Sunday, October 24th, play at least two standard ring-game tables at the same time or any Rush Poker* table during Take 2 to receive double the Full Tilt Points.
The more you play during Take 2, the more you’ll earn. Earn at least five bonus points on any five days during Take 2 to get $5 in cash. Do so on nine of the ten days to get an additional $20, for a total of $25.

You have elected to participate in Take 2. Stay up to date on your Take 2 status in the Take 2 Summary box on the right, and keep track of how many points you’ve earned in the calendar below.

This is a good promo, I actually achieved the 25 last year without losing much if any in Rush.

I always forget how the point work at FTP. Is being in the hand enough or did you have to contribute to a raked hand in order to receive these points?

Is this bonus easy to make playing 10 rush?

iirc, it is easy playing 5nl rush. It has been a year though, I might have been playing 10nl, but I really don't think I was as the swings make me want to bang my head against the wall.
I am also pretty sure being in the hand is enough.

I forgot they had Rush 5nl now. I may have to give that a try

Yay, way to go FTP. I've lost more than $25 so far this month with the change in how MGR is computed. Thanks for giving a fraction of what you're keeping back!

Very easy. I am playing 4 5NL tables of Rush and I could clear the 5 FTPs in 5-10 minutes easily

Dumb question from a SnG player: the changes are going to affect how fast you run up FTPs as well, meaning it'll take longer than it used to for nits to run up their 5 FTPs per day right?

I've signed up just in case but I dunno if I'll actually bother playing in Take 2 this time around. Taking the time out from my regular game for a piddling $5 won't be worth it, though I can see the attraction if these are your normal games.

I definitely agree with you PNJs dad , the Take 2 promo is the easiest that FTP ever had. Good luck and see you at the tables.

Did the change to the way rakeback is computed also change how you earn FTPs? Don't play much ring except for these promos so don't know. But if I recall its now weighted contributed rakeback, if FTPs are also then no longer would just being dealt a hand earn you ftps making this harder for people just playing to beat the promo.

Glad this one is back. I did this one with ease last year, also on the 5NL Rush tables. You can even fold your way to the 25... LOL. Compare to the last couple they have offered, this one is a lot easier to do, at least in my humble opinion

???

So are they are getting more rake but giving more points?

Do you have to put money into a pot in order to get points or just get dealt into the hand?

Everyone gets this one but you have to go to the My Promotions page and accept the Take2 Promo to be eligible.
