I'm trying to find the file that has all of your player notes in it, it seems to have changed from time to time.. a month ago when I last checked it was the XML file in your main FTP folder with your username. (username.xml)

But taking a look at this file now contains no information of notes.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!-- Do not edit this file -->
<PLAYERDATA version="1.0" xsi:schemaLocation
<NOTES>
</NOTES>
</PLAYERDATA>

It now looks like FTP stores your notes on their servers now? Maybe I'm wrong, and they just changed the location again for notes?

If anyone can confirm/help me out it would be great, thanks.:)

I can;t test this now but the sure way to test it is to add a note about someone and then look on another computer and see if the note is there.

Sorry, but I think your notes are gone. I posted this last month to someone wanting to know how to add notes from 1 computer to another. I did not try it myself. At any rate, just checked again on the new computer, and the list is the same, along with the same URL in your file....

In this thread a few days ago... https://www.cardschat.com/forum/general-poker-13/notes-174423/ I posted:

My best guess is one of the following:

1) You are playing on a new/different computer
2) You uninstalled FT & reinstalled it
3) You went into Program Files/FT/ and deleted some info in the XML file

Just to clarify, I believe the only CCer on the list is my friend, the Styb. We tease each other all the time, so the 'donkalicious' note was a little 'haha' for myself. I really made the note, and in a color I don't use much, just to make it easier to find him in a tourney, so I could harass him. lol He's an excellent poker player. But don't let him know I said that. :p

You posted this thread less than 24 hours ago. I was trying to help you by posting my XML file that I just pulled a few hours ago, and that it hadn't changed from almost a month ago. I took a fresh screen shot, saved it in Paint, and bothered to posted it again. So what are you talking about??????

Had you read it again, you might see I was trying to say that nothing in my files had changed to indicate that the player notes were on their server. I've noticed that sometimes you could do better with people who are trying to help.

BTW, I added 2 player notes a few minutes ago. They were added to my XML file (only) after I logged out of FT completely. I'd be a little surprised that they are storing only some players notes on their server, while not for others - wondering if there's another explanation. But I don't want to get into an argument.

Well your first post indicated you didn't read what I posted at all. Thats when I started to not credit anything else you started sying and skimmed the rest of the stuff you posted.

Sorry, but I don't think so.

No it did not indicate that at all. I read it right. I see you still haven't bothered to read it right. How to add notes from one computer to another, was a totally unrelated thread, and was clearly not the issue here. I simply added it to explain why I posted my file a month ago. Maybe I should have left it off then, but didn't think it would be misunderstood and dealt with like this.
