why does full tilt poker has such a low traffic considering that pokerstars traffic is at least 10 times more than ftp?. pokerstars owns full tilt poker now so shouldnt be players trust in this site now?

I like F.T as it is. The entry field is smaller to many tourneys so you don't have to wade your way through so many donks to have a chance of winning. At the micro and small buy in levels the buy in is on the whole at F.T much higher so you see a lot less traffic. On the other hand at P.S, you can enter an event where the traffic is in the thousands and if lucky you can walk away with a decent payout for a few cents. That is why I like the differences.

Complain to hm2 then......PT4 user myself, found hm2 was just horrible but think they come down to preference.
FTP is great for small field mtt's, and they have been doing lots of work with the schedules to try and bring in more traffic. Their rush tables and jackpot sng's sorta took traffic away from the regular tables being that there were limited players going around it makes sense it all doesn't get traffic but hopefully it will boost back up again but i guess you sometimes have to adjust and if you wanna stick with a site you enjoy then go where the traffic is if you want volume and for ftp that means jackpot sng's for sng volume and rush for cash volume.
But unless more people start going there and having some patience with the time it might take to fill the regular sng's then it will never improve because it just goes round and round .... "not playing there because of the low traffic means the low traffic will never pick up because you won't play there".
Besides ftp brand did have some tarnishing obviously and as mentioned not everyone knows ftp is clean now and owned by pokerstars/amaya, and stars has a lot more advertisement and everyone is chasing the dream of hitting big for small investment which stars currently offers thus why they get the most traffic.
FTP will bounce back some I am sure as they have been, and great to see them bringing back the daily dollar and such now we just have to get lots of traffic there so they can boost the gtd and bring in more traffic again

I'm sure that would be their goal as well, they have been tweaking with it as its now a reentry (just one reentry) or multientry (with max 2 entries).... i forget which one it was, when i played sometime in the last couple of weeks (the time of it kind of sucks for me during the week since I'm working, but was playing it when i played on the weekends) so I think that will help boost it a little and I like the 2nd chance opportunity to reenter in a nice structure deepstack tourney.
So I'm sure it must be breaking the 1k mark by now or closing in on it, so hopefully it continues to grow.

I like FTP, where you can play poker against real players playing poker to win not donks playing bingo on PS, and the best is that you get real chance to get in the final table of an MTT , not like pokerstars, where you have a small little chance to play in the final table regarding the number of entrants , (always thousands).

I'm not too sure about that zar, with most their MTT's being multi-entry or rebuys i find more donks shoving 75 bb's there than i do in the Big series of tourneys at PS

My overall experience at FTP after a few months of playing there was lukewarm at best, and that's without mentioning my issues with a HUD. I am happy with PS (cash) and 888 (stt/mtt) and will most likely not return to FTP.

the 10000 dollar tournaments were awesome however nowadays the daily dollar didnt even reach 1000 dollars in prices. also the 1 dollar token frenzy was pretty good and now i think its gone.
what i fail to understand is why ftp traffic cant have a peak of 50000 or 60000 players considering that pokerstars peak is about 200.000 players on weekends....

Sorry but you are obviously not playing that much at FTP, Zarzar is right about final tables and playing against better players not only fishes who shoves air and gutshots,,,,,

FTP is not comparable to PS at all. Idk PS is just best as for traffic, but also there's so many games you can choose from. E.g. SNGs on FTP are just desperate, not interesting at all. Only thing I like on FTP are certain tourneys, but as veltins says there are often rebuys/add-ons or multi-entry tourneys so that's tough too.

Would be great to to have a CC freeroll that had tickets as prizes again.If enough of us got involved abd won tickets that would in a small way help boost traffic.
Back in the day FTP was my go to site.They had country freerolls and I built a bank form these and used it to play razz, stud and HE sngs, but very little exists there at the moment.
