its very funny to see ftp freerolls for scandinavian, italian, belgium, french, united states, canada, australia, new zealand, ireland and also a freeroll for african people!!!! but what about south america people and asian people.....ok, i accept that there arent too manyyyy south american people at ftp but its so difficult to make a 40$ freeroll for south american and asian people????.... i really appreciate ftp freerolls but if they are so generosity to make 100 freerolls ( in the most cases) for "all the world" why dont they do a 40$ freeroll for south american an asian people???
and in the case they didnt wanted to spend 40 more dollards why dont they make a freeroll for african, south american and asian people( yes, all together!!!!)
i saw that in the african freroll there are only 200 people playing at...
only one word to describe this situation......

UNFAIR!!!!

I think they only have country freerolls for a certain number of registered members from that country/continent ?I registered and played almost all of them one day, and cashed in three of them. I got an email from FTP the next saying if I register for any country other than my own my account would be frozen... oops

I agree whole heartedly with your post. I would also add that, it seems a little unfair for the entire U.S.A. (population 300 million) to get a single $100 freeroll vs. all these little countrys (Ireland for example, population 4 million) get a $40 freeroll. See the discrepancy? But, it is free. So who do you complain to really? Nobody. Since it's free they can do whatever they like. It is their money.

Country Freerolls

People, lets be easy. There are "open" freerolls for everyone no matter what country you are from. Nuts, they are freerolls. Everyone relax and play what you can or want and enjoy the money if you can get in it. Now lets dance and play some poker.:)

i perfer!!

the fulltitl poker country freerolls i find are alot harder than the ones on pokerstars. too many players dont play properly on fulltilt, due to the fact that they move all in with some random hand like Q 8 suited. when the players on pokerstars would either raise the big blind so it doubled or fold. pokerstars is so much more professional. :D:cool:

How were you able to register for all of them? They wont allow me to sign up for any but the us one. I would really love to play in the free roll for you 1million pounds. Is there a way to trick them?

you are asking me who do complain???
well i will answer that question. im complaining to FTP because its incredible that there were promotions for so many countries, and continents like africa when we know that there are more south american and asian players than african....
please im complaining because ftp gives a gift to everybody except for 2 continents!!!
why africa deserve a 40$ freeroll and south america nothing???
hope you can understand who im complaining ( i know its free but came on!!!!)

I think the way that it is set up for freerolls is just fine, Move to Africa if you want to get in the African freeroll so bad . Everybody who's playing poker should be playing poker just to enjoy it and have a chance at some money
Best wishes

I don't think so. On fulltilt aren't so many south american or asian that fulltilt would make a freeroll. Maybe they make one when more than 50 people from these countries are registered at fulltilt.

I don't like the freerolls on FullTilt, neither the country specific freerolls nor the other ones. Only 1 % of players get paid (27 of 2700) - they really should change this quota to at least 5 %.

It does suck that the country(regional at times) freerolls vary so much by the number of entrants. Yes, the US population is over 300 million while many smaller nations have a fraction of that population. The thing here is they are freerolls! If someone is offering freerolls, I'm not going to complain about someone offering a free chance to play poker and win money. Do I wish I could enter the field of a African nation tourney rather than the US ones? yes... but I'm not going to complain.

I agree with you! They have Belgium freeroll, and they don't have any for Eastern Europe! Is Belgium full of poker players,or they maybe have 100 million population, they don't!They have 10 mil, less than Serbia does! What about Russians,Greeks,Croats,Romanians....FT could put one freeroll for East Europe like party poker(they have it 3 times a day)

I think they should have more USA freerolls, since we make up the predominance of players. Don't we?

Often, I have wondered how they determine the criteria for the country freerolls.

I have to say that, on one hand, I agree with the pleas for more US freerolls... but also say, like many have, at least there is that! Because as noted by the presence of this thread, there are many who don't have any of them (country or continent specific at least).

BUT FTP does have a generous number of general freerolls and while I get frustrated with play, especially in the beginning, at least there is the chance to get a bankroll without even putting money in.

I must also note here that at least they (the FTP freerolls) aren't just qualifying rounds.. I mean at PS almost all of the freerolls are 2 rounds (1st is just a qualifier where you have to come in 99th or better out of a field of sometimes 12000 to then play the 2nd round for any actual payout). AP has some little 50$ freerolls (not as often as FTP) which both payout and get you in the weekly 1k freeroll, along with 5k credrolls which are also very useful there.

Bottom line, there are plenty of freerolls out there, no matter where you are from, and while it may not seem fair not to have a country or continent freeroll of your own (or more than 1 in the case of US players) there is a fair amount of free action to be had which is a LOT better than NONE! :)

I play those freerolls too.
Around 700-800 players in the Dutch freeroll.
I aggree it's not fair that some other countries only have 200 players with the same ammount of money.

Ah well, hope in the future things will be different :D

There are many fr. on other sites, type freerolls into your browser, there are websites dedicated to giving information on where, when and how much you can win.
