FTP badges

does anyone know what use the badges are on full tilt. what is the true poker badge and how do you earn it?

Do you play with them showing or not showing?

Does anyone use them to gain information on opponents?

I used to play with them showing until I realized they were links to the website. I'd be multi-tabling and then all of a sudden the web would pop up. I turned them off. The ones I have don't really require any skill to acquire so not much info from them. Once in a while I'll run across a player with a FTP Academy badge so that tells me they are working on their game for whatever that's worth.

Badges are just for showing off i guess. Makes newbies feel they are accomplishing something even if they are losing.

True poker badge is got by playing a few real money games or something. I linked the page that explains all below.

I just hide all my badges except the true one. IDK why just kinda figure if someone sees the easiest to get and no more they could assume I am casual player. Not likely but every little edge helps.

You can show the badges without having the links live. Go to the Options on any Full Tilt table > Badges tab and on the drop down menu select display badges without links.

Thanks. TBH I don't really care...I just don't want them annoying me during play.

No worries. I just remember that it used to really annoy me when i used to accidentally click the links.
