Sorry since this doesn't answer your question, but I'm curious: They have a US only freeroll? Normally, does it fill up to 2700? What time is it at?

I played in one once (a month ago), but I never saw it in signups ever again. I think it was about 8:40 PM ET.

It appears in the lobby and registration opens at 20:05 and it starts at 21:05. I dont know why it only apears when registration opens, kinda weird.
It is always full by the time it starts.

 WOW:eek:

OK, I have seen alot of people complain about FT support, but I cant be one of them. Maybe I just got the one cool person at FT support, but check this out:

Thank you for your email to Full Tilt Poker Support.

We're sorry to hear that you're having difficulties registering for the $100
United States Freeroll.

We've received reports that some players are having difficulty accessing
web-based tournament registration pages. We apologize for any inconvenience, and
are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

In the meantime, it will be necessary for you to submit a request to
support@fulltiltpoker.com in order to have your account manually registered each
time you wish to participate in the $100 United States Freeroll.

We've manually registered you for the $100 United States Freeroll on April 1st,
2009 at 21:05 ET.

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we also kindly ask
that you please attempt to register yourself for these freerolls prior to
submitting a manual registration request, as we hope to have the issue resolved
as soon as possible.

Best of luck in the tournament, and if there's anything else we can help with,
please let us know. We're always happy to help.

Regards,

Kali
Full Tilt Poker Support

Went and checked and sure enough, Im in the tourney.
OK, so I guess I didnt need to ask the question here, but maybe the answer I got might help others if they have the same issue.

Eastern time? I just need to make sure so I can sign up tomorrow at the right time. I hope it fills slower than open-to-all freerolls :)

Thanks for answering my question!

It usually fills a little slower than the normal donkfests. Registration is a little different though. Look in the middle box in the lobby. It will have a 'click to register' line and that will take you to a separate web-based registration page.

It is also the page you need to go to if you should need to unregister.

Had the same thing with the African freeroll but contacted support and they registered me.

I must also just add that their support department was super speedy in replying to me and it was a pleasure dealing with them.

I have never seen a US freeroll on there so this is exciting news. Did they just add this tourney? I always see canada, United Kingdom, and a whole slew of other countries have their own freerolls but NEVER the United States. Awesome. Thanks for the post.

These nationality freerolls are generally better value, i'm from the UK and I don't think it fills up to the 2700. I wish i was from ireland though, theres aways seems empty compared :). Good to see FT support doing what it should, long may it continue.

You can sign up for most of them up to 24 hours before, but the USA one only appears two or three hours before it starts IIRC.

They've had this tourney for quite a while ( at least 2 or so months ). I saw it in registration the first day I joined the site, but I haven't been online at the right time to see it being registered or full before. I happen to be eating at the time it registers until it is scheduled to start.

I got in fine. Tourney usually takes about 1/2 hour to fill up. Play is a little tighter than the open freerolls, but not much. Expect it to last 5 hours.

It really is much easier to sign up for (friend tried it last night). It's 5x harder to get in public ones (they must fill in 7 seconds or less, depending on computer lag!). A little tighter (fewer donks) is always good too! Hooray country-restricted freerolls!!! :)
