I just noticed this promotion is back for next week. This is probably one of my favorite ones apart from Take 2. You just have to win 3 sit and gos to qualify for the 75K freeroll. It's pretty easy playing 6-handed games, and the ticket is worth around 10 bucks, so this is a good one to keep in mind for the weekend of January 7th.

looks like they changed it from last time:

Please note that Super Turbo Sit & Gos count for two-fifths the amount of points toward Super Sit & Go Madness Leaderboards as Normal Sit & Gos and Turbo Sit & Gos.

Thank god, now maybe I have a chance. Hopefully 20 tables of regular will be enough

Scratch that from above, I didnt realize that for example a $6 dollar sng is worth less than an $11 sng despite being in the same bracket. I'm definitely not rolled for the $11 and I think the rake is definitely too high at the $2.25s

Despite the rake I decided to go for it

Aaahhh, SnG Madness. When people who have no idea how to play SnGs come to donate and make those of us who have a vague idea look good :)

I know what you mean. I played a few $2.25's. Can anybody say DONKEEZZ!. Of course their combined donkey might was too much for me and I did poorly.

So I moved up to the $5.50's. So far I'm 3 wins for 4 tries :D

But I do have a question. In my last game, me and my heads-up opponent were so close over many hands that we chose to chop it. Does this still count as a win, or do I only have 2 1/2 wins as far as the Madness Freeroll ticket goes? Anyone know?

To clarify, one needs 3 wins to get the ticket, and I have two straight up wins and one chop. I must add that in the chopped game I was chipleader.

132 hands to get a second place finish in a $5 game. Ridiculous.

Some are. My longest one went only 122 hands, but the blinds were 500/1K when it finished.

But of course it was my doing, I took my sweet time every hand. Won it, but it frustrated the hell out of my opponents. :D

Got my ticket to the 75K Freeroll by winning 3 6-handed sit-n-gos ($1.00 + $0.10). I finished 4 bucks up and changed all my tournament dollars to real dollars as well. Love this promotion.
