I played in one of these, for a while you can be a lot more patient, then near the middle and end it's played very very much like a big MTT. I placed 2nd in my first ever 90 ds sng

Ronald: In doublestack you start with 3k, as opposed to 1.5k, hence, "double"stack.

Looks like emperor answered your question ronaldadio. A Lot of people complain that they take to long but honestly i think the double stack tourneys actually seem to go faster, I might be wrong but thats how it seems to me.

I`m playing in a `high stack` on laddies. 4000 starting chips, 15 min blinds.

I think it give you the chance to play more poker - no rush.

double stacks allows me to play looser and see more flops, which allows me to catch a hand or two .A 90 sng also pays more spots for the same buy in as 45sng. This is good for people with small bank rolls

I play these quite often; in fact I'm in a $10 one right now.

i got 3rd in one of those this morning. the 3 handed lasted nearly 25 minutes. i got extremely impatient and 1st ace i paired, i pushed it really hard, caught by trips. my fault. but ill take the 50 bucks.
