Wow, quite the bit of contradiction going on here in just these three sentences. No, it is not still no limit. By definition "NO LIMIT" means exactly that. Just like in POT limit where the size of your bet is restricted to the size of the pot at that time. Think of it like a buffet. Say you go to an "All you can eat" buffet intent on gorging yourself (skipped breakfast and lunch even). Then after three plates, while heading back for your fourth plate the manager stops you and says you can't have any more because this is an all you can eat buffet with a three plate limit. Well then it isn't an "all you can eat buffet", is it? No, it's a fit as much as you can on a plate buffet because after three plates you can't have any more. Same thing here. It if was NO limit, then a player could bet their entire stack at any time and get the whole thing paid off if they win. This alternative game being described is Restricted Loss HE, or Variance Reduction HE, or Hand Loss Limit HE, or whatever else you like, but it isn't NO Limit.
