Frustrated

Hello All:

Im very dis-appointed in the decision I made, after playing against 8626player's for like 4 1/2 hours - I wind-up an not place.

Is this one of the freerolls? I played a pokerstars freeroll and I ended up and 28th place and the qualifier is for the Top 26 places.

Yes you are correct, it was one of them- an i think it was for 1st thru 27th position. it was a crazy game basically i just folded unless I had a premium hand, then after the second 5min break an i started catching quality hands thats when the player's started really focusing on staying in an placing.


SHERMSTICK

I'm used to play these (24 or 27 places to the weekly depending of the kind of game).
When I pass the first hour break I generally go through the top 100.
Then most part of the time when you play for 4 to 5 hours you're not yourself anymore.
The countdown for the qualifier is very slow as people play tighter and tighter.

Usually I fall between 50 and 25 with some good places which put me into theweekly. I should work on my game on these very important moments as I'm not playing as well as I would like to.

But definitely these freerolls are a great experience as it learns you patience... as it takes you a lot of patience to still alive till the end.

Yeah, ive played afew of these, came 7th and 3rd in 2 of them. Never been down to about 30 left and went out yet, if im sitting on a nice stack and there is about 30-40 left, i fold everything and i mean everything apart from the obvious like AA, KK, QQ but things like AK, AQ, AJ is a no go for me when there is only that ammount of players left.
