Hell ya that's alot of ppl, but it's very easy to beat, just wait for AA/KK/ and monster hands of that sort, push and you usally end up with atleast 1 caller, do it again, and again

There's one freeroll on pokerstars that's pretty decent,

Satellite to the Daily Eight Grand, prize pool is around $400 dollars,

you play with 10,000 players but the good thing is its a Turbo.

Freerolls at pokerstars are the worst ever...The max amount of people is absurd and you usually only get entry into another tourney :/ Awful waste of time imo

I quit playing at those freerolls with more than 3000 players. When the tourneys drag on for 5+ hours it gets so boring. I hate pokerstars because their freerolls are just satelittes into a bigger prize pool tourney. You could have more than 8+ hours just to get a payout, what a drag

I don't think I've ever been above 900 at PS, you really need to have some time to sit and play but the prize is like anything else, good luck in the next stage.

I have seen the Hubble free rolls at poker stars with like 12,000 people in them. I must agree this is a ridiculous amount of people playing in one tournament. Also by what I understand you only win an entry into another tournament although I may be wrong. Just out of curiosity though how long does the free roll with 12,000 people in it take to finish?

Yep, true... Anyway the times there are no freerolls on other rooms, I play those tourneys for the experience I gain...

Today out of 12k players I ended 121st   First 100 got the ticket for Round 2.... I was angry as hell, but oh well, it's experience after all...

I actually came in 6th in the Hubble two months ago. It took 5 hours total but I could've stopped shortly after 4 hours because I believe the top 100 get the 2nd round ticket. I was playing such a long time that I figured, what the heck, I'll see where I could finish. :D In the end, my pocket Jacks were cracked by the big stack who played a hand like 7-6 and hit full house.

I haven't play in the Hubble since then but I've recently tried the Daily Eighty Grand and that's more feasible - finished in the top 100 just short of 2 hours (but still out of the money). What I hate about this one though is that it starts at 1:30 so I'm usually at work.

Ya I do play those rarely for kicks but the ft ones have a much lower field and if you win one of those they have many players who wanna swap money from ft to pokerstars etc... However you need to go to the full tilt lobby menu and check the info, they have alot of scammers names posted and such, something to be wary of. Check out all the info first. They are not liable for those transactions.

I have won a couple of them, but never made it long into the weekend games. If you can hold out and only play the monster hands (and NOT get unlucky) for the 1st hours all the P$Fs are gone and so are most of the "non players"

I don't seem to be able to join these freerolls. Or it's me not finding them, althgouh I look in the freeroll departement. Strange thing.
Luckily I know some Belgian sites that host there.

There's almost no point in playing in the massive field of pokerstars freerolls. With that many players in the field, people make unbelievably erratic plays. If you want a FR, stay away from PS.

Hey Captain, I was at your table a couple of times in the Stud-8 freeroll yesterday. I remember your avatar. Glad to see you wound up getting a ticket too.

I agree that PS really should do something to make their freerolls more worthwhile. One thought I have is to maybe have a small cash prize pool in the round 1 tourneys and pay like the last 3 tables in addition to giving out tickets to round 2. I mean, you have to survive usually 4 hours or so to even get a ticket, why not have some incentive after that?

The thing about the PS round 2 freerolls that I find really hilarious is that so many people start shoving early in them too, just like in the round 1 freerolls. I mean, you'd think that after playing for 4 hours just to get an entry, most everyone would actually take the round 2s seriously. That's why I usually stick to the limit round 2s on Sunday.

yes, this freerolls are annoying on stars - it takes around 2 1/2 hours to get to the top 100 and than the saturday tourney is again around 2000-2500.

i think i invested around 30 hours (i hope, it can easily be 40..) in this freerolls till i gave up.. making 1.70$ so i averaged a decent 5.6 cents an hour..
