What are some of the good sites for a USA player for freerolls without having to deposit? I want to win at least a little $ playing freerolls so that I can start playing in cash games.

I think black chips have on demand freeroll. Lock has free ticket freeroll .
Cardchat here have good freeroll.
besides on some special day, like X'mas, thanksgiving, new year? poker room may have special event.

There are no great public freerolls for US players these days. There are several private freerolls at many sites. CC hosts several private freerolls per week.

Black Chip has on demand for 10 dollars all day..

Starting tomorrow the 11th, they will be hosting larger ones for 15 days (15 days of christmas)
