To help count down your Full Tilt Points:
Click the
customize.jpg
button at the bottom-right of the main lobby.

Scroll down to the Session Information and check Rush Poker
ftpwidgets.jpg

You can also ad an odometer if you want, which will keep track of FTP's from any starting point. That way you can do multiple sessions in a day.

This is what you will see in the main lobby:
ftpwidgets2.jpg

For the record it took almost exactly an hour to make 50 FTP's playing one table of $25NL full ring. I started after midnight. This just started and the so it might be wilder crowd than normal.

(Tomorrow I need to make another 48 points, so I might two-table.)

Oh yeah? So if $5NL is 10 an hour, me playing 5x higher for 5x the points makes sense.

I've been told that the regular odometer isn't a good way of keeping track of daily FPP's because it includes bonus FTP's, and bonus FTP's do not count.

Instead, ad the Iron Man odometer.

Better free advice for Rush Week:

DO NOT PLAY RUSH POKER!

You just pop in here to inject negativity?
I don't play Omaha, but I don't pop into Omaha threads and tell them not to play.

While your bb/100 is probably going to be lower at Rush because assessing players is trickier, you're playing a whole lot more hands per hour so you should be winning more $ per hour.

That is, if I can play 150 hands in two hours at normal FR (75 hands per hour), and make 6bb/100 I'll average 9bb's profit.
But if I can only make 2bb/100 at Rush, those 1,000 hands I play in two hours give me a 20bb profit.

I'm not sure how feasible it is to play 75 hands per hour at FR, but 500 an hour at Rush is about right.

Getting sucked out on has nothing to do with the Rush element of the game.

You might as well hate ice cream because you had a flat tire on the way back from the supermarket.

I dont want to jump on the negativity bandwagon but I think people need to think hard about what they are going to go for, rush seems to be a verience magnifier one day you could be down 3 buy-ins, the next up 4 if you get three days into it and your 5 or more buyins down there is no shame in quitting it.

I was gonna go for 100 pts until I realised it would be too hard playing 5nl so I will happily just take 10pts all week, I am up so far and free money is free money.

Rush is just faster. If you're losing money, you'll lose it faster in Rush, that's true. The cards don't fall with any different probabilities, you're not more likely to get sucked out on...you're just playing more hands/hour.

Thats exactly what I meant the more hands you play the more chances are of you getting sucked out on obv. And yes in the long term verience will sort out the winning players from the losing but for a week long promo you have just as much chance as losing 10 buyins than you have to win them so this promo is not for everyone I feel. I will be happy with a 10$ bonus while I am winning money from playing rush, I think many will aim for the sky and might over reach.

This being said rush plays differently than normal speed no doubt, the fact that its faster and you in theory have no read on the villians makes it very different. Of course I only play the lowest level so maybe people playing higher see it differently.

I'd watch the video I made. You should be able to hit 100 points playing 5nl easy. The key is to be aggressive, but when you start to see resistance you need to get away from your hands. Sometimes you even need to make big laydowns. Because we don't have any reads, sometimes we need to give players more credit than we normally would. I also think the resteal game is where it's at playing 5nl. The players have no clue what to do, as long as you are restealing against full stacks.

Its a shame I only read this I only need 20 pts for 100 but I am too tired now and fear I would just lose money but I will watch the vid reguardless tomorrow.

I have 3k hands at Rush $25NL FR and I've only had one resteal called.
If I'm on the BB and have anything decent, I pop it up and the thieving button folds. It's awesome!

I think folding and getting another hand is so easy, they don't want to bother with potentially sticky situations.

Play Rush and Steal, Steal, Steal, but like Trigga said if you run into some resistance back off, otherwise this may happen.

Rush Str8 Flush

I was just going for the steal but when I flopped the flush I thought ok well I wont back off to the resistance, and then on the turn this guy just kept on raising it, I started getting shaky hands and it wasnt from nerves it was from LMFAO so hard. :D :hello:

Sometimes when going for the steal it may pay to go for the suckout, like this guy waited till the river to shove. I know I may have lost this hand easily by a higher flush, but I like taking gambles, I dont recommend it for everyone, I set a limit that I am willing to lose and the following hand was within that limit.
Rush Flush Suckout

Muahahahahahahaha.

But back to the OP, Mr Penguin Sir, is that odometer more accurate than the points points in the Cashier window, because what I have been doing is having the game window on top of the cashiers window so as I am able to see the points.

The Iron Man Status is what you want, Z:
ironmanstatus.jpg

It doesn't count any bonus FPP's, which don't count anyway.
Heaven forbid you get some bonus points and quit playing before you get enough base points.

I had some really bad luck after midnight tonight, losing about 1.5 buy-ins the last few minutes, so I finished today's session a whopping $2.92 in the green. That puts me at $99.91 in winnings for the 4 days, plus $13.52 in rakeback, and the $25 bonus which I just unlocked but hasn't been paid yet. 3,885 hands with a 5.14 BB/100 rate.

Well what about Happy Hour points, I made my 10 points today while playing during happy hour, and my total points only increased by 10.
FTP Rush Points

I don't play enough at Fool Tilt for the Iron Man bonus.
How many points per month do you need to get to Iron Man status.
