Satelites with buy in with FPP are unbelivable...people are playing it brainless even more than freerolls...

after the re-buy period usually begins a normal game, just wait for this moment.

If you pass through the opening stage, play would revert back to normal from middle to end stage.

The 5+R FPP Sunday Storm Satellite tournaments are absolutely profitable. Many people take one bullet (do not rebuy), and the skill level isn't the highest either. They happen hourly during the day, while late registration lasts 45 minutes. The games take around 2 to 2 and a half hours to complete, and if you cash you get an $11 ticket to the Sunday Storm. You can play the Sunday Storm or unregister and get $11 in Tournament Dollars (T$). Check them out.

Also, I'm in one right now and am in a decent position after the addon.

P.S. Do not join 1 of these tournaments unless you have 100 FPPs or more on your pokerstars account as you want to be able to rebuy as many times as needed, and you want to be able to addon as well. You may need to rebuy 20 times, as when I rebuy I double-rebuy.

Seems like there is some mixed opinions here.

I absolutely feel that FPP STT's are profitable.

My reasoning and method are as follows.

1000 FPP's can be redeemed for $10. 2000 FPP's for $20 etc.

Lets say I have 2000 FPP's.

For 235 FPP's I can play a 6 man STT that pays T$11 for top 2. 2000 FPP's allows me to play 8/9 of these tournaments. On average I cash in roughly 1 in 2. So my 9 games would, on my average, net me T$44-55. More than twice the redemption value of my FPP's for cash.

As a predominantly cash game player with a pretty solid heads up game I use each $11 ticket to enter one $7 4man HU Winner Takes All and one $3.50. I have pretty good results in these too. I can easily turn my T$ into actual $ in my account here and more often than not increase the value some in the process.

I find this to be the best way, for me atleast, to benefit from the FPP scheme at Stars.

Sunday Strom 235 FPP satelittes definitly have the best value.

Only a few MicroMillions satelittes (when MM are running, ofc) have better value...

If you pick the right satellite and play for the seat these have much greater value to me than buying directly in.. I have qualified so many times for bigger tournaments with less than 2 bigs when it is over.. different strategy needed here..

I play the Sunday Storm and the Sunday sparkler sats for only 13FPP buy-in and top 2 out of 10 get entry, it's only $1 for the Sparkler to enter anyway but i played about 10 and won 7 and because the tournie started so early i just kept unregging and taking my $1 and refunding it into my account as T$, it's not bad for only 13FPP's when you have a spare couple of thousand FPP's.
