Where do you play and why?

I am pretty loyal to Foxwoods and there are almost always more tables running than Mohegan. I only get comped rooms there but I like the atmosphere at both although they are different. I think the average player at Mohegan is worse however but not sure.

I've had the platinum card at Foxwoods for about 7 months now. And still not impressed with the comps. I heard Mohegan takes great care of their poker players.

I always play at Mohegan Sun. I just run supernaturally bad at Foxwoods for some reason.

In these poker rooms is there rake from each pot? Or do you pay an entrance fee to the poker room? I've never been to a live casino.

I'll be that guy.

There's a rake.

Are you guys playing cash games, or tournaments? I've thought about of making the trip to a tournament but I wouldn't go for a cash game.

I favor Foxwoods. I've been going there since the day they opened. That's where I first learned the games Texas hold'em and Omaha 8 or better then brought them back to our home game on Friday nights. I like to go there now for their tournaments. I'm thinking of going down Saturday for the Big stack $300 buy-in, $30,000 guaranteed prize pool
